I wonder how much it's going to cost to get the roof fixed, and worse, how much time it will take.

That Monday Night game between Chicago and Minnesota next week is going to be a stick situation. Do they play it in Detroit again, or do they play at the Minnesota University stadium?

Either way, that roof is gonna be a bitch to fix.

I'm sure I could have missed something, but as of like 8 PM EST Sunday night on 1260 AM Radio in Indianapolis, the ESPN affiliate said Minnesota shouldn't have a problem getting ready for next Monday's game.

I find it hard to believe, seems like a large task to me, but we'll see.

The Metrodome engineers were saying that they could have the dome repaired by Wednesday evening if needed so I don't think the game next weekend is in jeopardy. They will likely just replace the torn panels and re-pressurize the inside of the dome which would raise the roof.

There was some talk of getting a new solid roof but that is an estimated $100M and year long construction. The Vikings will move before that happens.
