The Broncos have expressed interest in free agent NT Grady Jackson.

Jackson is currently out of Denver's price range, which is perplexing. He didn't key an effective run defense in Atlanta last year and is 36 years old.

The Jets are expected to sign Scott to a contract worth about $8 million per year that could land in the range of $40 million total.

The Jets are doing big things with Coles leaving and Favre "retiring."

Miami's flirtation with Carter last July seemed laughable at the time. It's well in the rear view now. Carter, 31, blew a 0.14 in Texas, where the legal limit is 0.08. He's been arrested three times for marijuana since 2006.

Bart Scott reportedly is going to give the Ravens a chance to match the Jets' five-year, $40 million contract offer.

In an effort to break the story, many national sources said the deal was officially agreed to. But it was never signed and it now appears Scott is having second thoughts and wants to give Baltimore another shot. We don't see why Baltimore wouldn't match now, but it's no lock. The Baltimore Sun passes along speculation that the Ravens are now offering Bart Scott a five-year, $42 million contract.

That's $2 million more than the Jets' offer. Scott also reportedly wants to be assured that he will be the "center piece" of the new defense, which means he would be taking over Ray Lewis' spot. Scott is still negotiating with both clubs.

This post is horse shit. If it were connected to any of those teams, you wouldn't have even heard about it. At the very least, it would have been swept under the rug. Any and every piece of news around the Cowboys with even the slightest twinge of negativity is blown immensely out of proportion, as evidenced this past season, which brings me to my next point.

Here's a news flash; Quincy Carter hasn't had jack shit to do with the Cowboys in nearly 5 years.

The whole reason you posted that story (in a thread where it didn't belong, no less) was to get a rise out of people.
