Agree completely.
And he'd make way more as UT's 19-0 opponent than as a mediocre UFC fighter.

Right now he's making 6 figures every time he fights. That will continue as long as he stays competitive.

If he gets killed by JDS, and gets killed in his fight after that, he will be finished as a top earning fighter.

The rub with that, is once exposed in the cage, a potential wrestling match loses some luster as well.

Even as an elitist puro/indy guy (I've had those tendencies in my day, especially when I had a home grown product in my back yard), you still, as a wrestling fan, are in the loop on things WWE, which means you know what the better material they have going on for them...if you say you aren't, I'd call you a liar. Not seeing HBK-Taker II is just negligent, if even for the hype surrounding it.

How can I take the Top 100 seriously now?

But seriously, that match isnt going to change anything for either guy in terms of the list. I'm rock solid in my positioon for both, even if it turns out to be the best match i've ever seen (highly, highly doubtful).

I read the results and 2-things Im happy about.

UT won (really happy. I wonder if he will try to get to 20-0 or wont his body hold up)
Corre Lost - I fucking hate Wayne Barrett. I hated that entire Nexis angle. Like 6 rookies are going to show up and take over the WWE.

I'll be looking for the UT/HHH match, so if anyone has some links pleas send them my way.

Why can't anyone work undercard matches anymore? For christ's sake.

You have Edge and Mysterio working undercard matches with two young guys. They are expected to carry to the bulk of the match, but these guys are stiff and can't work for shit. These mopes haven't been interesting in a decade. I feel bad for ADR and Rhodes, two guys that actually have something, but working with these black holes will never get you anywhere close to a good match these days.

Then you have Punk, another really good worker, paired with Orton who couldn't sell a homeless man free money.

You then put all of your strong mid-card workers in junk. Morrison, Ziggler, Bryan, Barrett, Kingston...five guys you can probably count on for a good match, in matches sent to legit curtain jerker status, and a total of 5m in squashes between two matches.

Awful.

The E needs to bring back guys like Jericho, Angle, and Michaels.

Jericho pretty much said flat out that he didn't want to come back at WM and be completely overshadowed by UT and HHH's returns.

I completely agree with not understanding why the mid-carders you mentioned got such shit matches. They couldn't of thought to put those 5 and Sheamus in something like an elimination match or a ladder match for the US title to add some type of excitement? That 8 man tag, 5 minute match was the biggest waste of a spot on the card, it seemed like it didn't even need to be had.

I understand not having a MITB match, as you have a PPV dedicated to that shit now, but damn, have these midcarders in something decent.

Sheamus v. Bryan was a perfectly good opportunity for both guys. Yet, they take it off the show and make it a lumberjack match that turns into a battle royal. That is just disrespectful to both guys.

Morrison v. Ziggler would be a perfectly good opportunity for those two to "steal the show" as both are good little workers. OK, you put them with Trish, Snooki, LayCool...alright, but let the match go longer than 3 minutes and let those two guys get 75% of the work in. Bring in McCool and Trish to work a bit (two fine chick wrestlers if you are into that sort of thing) and have Snickers do her little spot. Give it more than what you gave it and you end up with something that might be decent.

Barrett v. Kingston, as I said, had a decent match on free TV with a cool finish to put the title on Barrett. Should have just put that match on at WM, would have been fine.

Rhodes got the best he could out of Mysterio. Good enough, but you just aren't going to get anything decent from Mysterio these days.

Edge v. ADR was another WWE wasted opportunity. If you want to curtain jerk it, fine, but give the crowd a reason to pop or boo. Change the title immediately and it sets your night up where "anything can happen!!!111" plus, you don't lose momentum later in the show and you got your title change out of the way without interfering in your two big matches.

Punk couldn't save anything Orton did, if Orton was going over. Same shit, different day for Orton.

With ADR, I think one of these situations happened...

1) The plan all along was for Del Rio to lose at Mania with the idea that the cocky heel fell short. The storyline goes on in the coming months where eventually, he wins the belt and they can turn either Edge or Christian. I doubt this is what happened.

2) The plan all along was for Del Rio to win the title at Mania in one of the main events. When they got to this week, they realized they didn't want to have all the big matches back to back. They like having 'buffers' between them (hence the 6-man...gives the people a chance to come down). So they realized they needed to bump the U.S. title match for time. They move the World title match to the opening spot and get the people happy with Edge retaining. Del Rio will get his win later on.

That's what I believe happened.

God forbid you give guys a shot to get over on the biggest stage and maybe create a star. No time for that. But plenty of time for Pee Wee Herman.
