It's in the middle of a game, a player dropped a pass that would've gotten some nice yards. He was pissed like most qbs would be.

Also that play could've led to points instead of nothing and the more scoring drives Stafford leads, the better his chance to start.

Unless he absolutely sucks, he's not losing his spot.

The organization put too much money into him for him not to be the guy... of course the same could be said about Joey Harrington but he didn't have an old-and-busted Daunte Culpepper or permanent back-up Drew Stanton to not worry about.

But for some reason he is playing for a starting job and dropped balls that he throws perfectly are going to cost him his job so he is pissed??? I mean that's what i'm getting from Lions fans at least.
 
I didnt see him get mad I saw him laughing after one of the dropped passes.

I think everyone makinga big deal out of nothing. Not like he went all Jon kitna on us and frowned his eye brows.

The good

-Cowboys Stadium lives up to the hype. Truly amazing building and by far the best thing we've ever seen in the NFL.

-Romo and the first team offense looked very sharp. Dude had great accuracy throughout the half, talking pinpoint. Moved the ball at will through the air. (Said from the get-go; TO or no TO, this offense is still more than capable of putting points on the board, especially now that the QB and OLine are healthy again)

-Martellus Bennett = beast

-Holy shit, did I see Bobby Carpenter make a play?

The bad

-All that talk of fixing penalties means jack-shit, apparently. 13 penalties for 113 yards. This has been the team's biggest weakness the last two years. They're constantly beating themselves and after a solid showing in Oakland, they reverted back to a team that looks like it's coached by Wade Phillips.

-Special teams (kick coverage, really) was atrocious. That's the SECOND biggest thing that killed them last year. So much for firing Bruce Read.

-Can't say it enough, Cory Proctor is the worst offensive lineman in football. "Everyone moved but the center". FML if this dude plays significant downs again.

The ugly

-Fuck you for not making sure the midfield star was down, Jerry.

-Double fuck you for letting Hentrich and that rookie punter make you look like an idiot after all that talking you did about how the scoreboard would never be hit by a punt.

He said the star as well as the Ring of Honor and Tom Landry's statue will all be restored in time for the regular season, but we'll see. It's always something with Jerry Jones.

i watched the game with a cowboys fan last night and he had the same thoughts as you....he never stops talking about Felix Jones and everything so everytime he touched the ball i said ACL and he would get pissed...he was also getting pissed that your starters played entire second half, and you had terrance newman your number 1 corner returning punts in the 2nd half.....but yea you all did look sharp

Just watched the first half of the Falcons game vs. St Louis.

- Ryan and the first team offense looked stupid good. Made it look easy on several drives. Barring any Turner injury this offense will be unstoppable. Tony G still has it.

- Laurinaitis missed 2-3 tackles on one drive. Granted, it was Michael Turner, but he's gotta tackle better for that defense to be any good.

- Rams O-Line pretty much got their shit packed in, including Jason Smith who was pushed back by Jamaal Anderson twice, one forcing a holding penalty by Smith. Lawrence Sidbury looked good and had 2 sacks.

Getting beat 45-7. Saints putting up Florida vs. East Coastal Carolina State numbers up on them.

I know its just the preseason and the Raiders are prolly missing some starters but damn. Bush and Pierre Thomas didn't even play, Brees played like 15 mins.

The best thing about this game is listening to the Oakland home announcers try to pull any positives out of this game.
