I remember when Cisse went on that season long loan with them - he bought a house and set up some sort of cafe or nightclub... In Newcastle.
Keane, normally I could do without, but he'd be the perfect pair of legs to fetch Carrols headers and he's sure a hell of a lot better then Shola/Xisco/Ranger. We've also apparently mended some bridges with Taylor and are close to getting a new deal done.
Keegan style 4-3-3 would do me - Keane and Carroll up front with Ben Arfa playing the Owen role of attacking midfielder playing behind those two. Although the worrying thing is I doubt Houghton drops his boy Nolan, especially since he appointed him captain and all.

You saying there that inheriting a treble winning Inter side that has won the past 5 Serie A's that contains the reigning European Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder and Striker of the year is some sort of challenge? I'd personally say that Real Madrid is a tougher job then Inter just on the pressure alone - how many managers have been sacked after a 97 point season?
Besides, Jose is right. Rafa has/had the chance to win 3 very winnable trophies within the first 4 months of taking over.
