Hummels to Barca for 30 million euros?

Currently on a deal with Borussia Dortmund until June 2017 and engaged with German NT into Euro 2012, centre-back Mats Hummels (23), who's still a target for Barcelona FC, might leave just on a 30 million euros offer. Spanish club will however try to negotiate with Bundesliga reigning champions.

Fantastic signing for Barca if it happens. Puyol can't do it every day, and Pique seemed to not give a shit last year. Hummels is comfortable on the ball and would fill a definite need.

ARSENAL have received a ‘come and get me’ plea from Russia’s midfield sensation Alan Dzagoev.

The CSKA Moscow star, whose contract expires at the end of the year, wants to play in the Premier League.

The £13m star is out of contract in December and is set to create some interest in the Gunners camp.

The 21-year-old midfielder signed for CSKA Moscow in 2008 and is said to want a move to England.

There is no way Hummels is moving any time soon, he just barely signed a contract extension through 2017 a couple weeks ago. As fas as Drogba, I think he's good buds with Anelka and wasn't going to get paid nearly as much anywhere else at his age.

Yes, but they don't often sell the player immediately after signing a new contract. I meant soon as in before 2015-16.

The Russian striker, who is a free agent, has agreed a four-year contract to join the Premier League new boys, worth 60,000 pounds-a-week.

Goal.com understands that the terms of the deal are both twice as long and twice as financially rewarding as the two-year, 30,000 pounds-a-week contract proposed by Fulham.

Pogrebnyak has passed a medical at the Madejski Stadium and will sign for Reading subject to gaining a work permit.

He will become comfortably the highest paid player in Reading’s history in a move that shatters the club’s wage structure and is also a huge statement of intent under the new ownership of Russian tycoon Anton Zingarevich.

Pogrebnyak’s impending switch has come as a blow to Fulham, who tried to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent deal following an impressive loan spell in the second half of last season that yielded six goals in 12 matches.

Arsenal have emerged as rivals to Chelsea's interest in Hatem Ben Arfa.

The 25-year-old Newcastle winger has been on the Champions League winners' radar for some time after an impressive campaign last season.

But Arsenal, whose summer reshuffle has seen them buy Cologne striker Lukas Podolski and line up Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud, are now contenders, too.

Ben Arfa is believed to have welcomed the interest, as he fears he would not play regularly if he were to trade Tyneside for Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have already clinched the signings of midfielders Eden Hazard of Lille and Marko Marin of Werder Bremen for next season, to join the likes of Juan Mata and Frank Lampard.

Ben Arfa, who is currently on Euro 2012 duty with France in Polkraine, joined Newcastle on loan from Marseille in August 2010.

The move becoming permanent soon after, even though he was out with a badly broken leg.

He returned to first-team action last September after almost a full year on the sidelines.

Juventus are ready to hijack Everton's move for Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatia striker enjoyed an impressive Euro 2012, scoring three goals, although iIt wasn't enough to keep his country in the tournament as they narrowly missed out on the knockout stages, with Italy and Spain advancing from their group.

Now though, attention will turn to Mandzukic, and Wolfsburg are wary his profile will have been enhanced following his performances in Ukraine.

Everton manager David Moyes wants to sign Mandzukic and pair him in attack with his countryman Nikica Jelavic, but Juventus have now emerged as serious contenders for his signature.

Wolfsburg will demand a lot more than the £7m Moyes is considering offering the German club - and Juventus are ready to match their price.

The German club are pushing for around £15m and the Italians would have no problem stumping up the cash.

Stoke City are in talks to sign Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron, according to the American club’s chairman Chris Canetti.

The versatile USA international was a member of the MLS All Star Team that played against Manchester United, and has continued to impress this season as his side sit fifth in the Eastern Conference.

His fine form has reportedly drawn interest from Everton and German side Schalke, but Stoke seem to have stolen a march on their rivals in the race for his signature by opening negotiations.

“I would say some dialogue has opened up in terms of what it might take to get it done,” Canetti told the Houston Chronicle.

“They haven’t made an official offer. I don’t know how serious they are or if they’re just kicking the tires. Right now there’s just initial dialogue that’s starting up.”

Cameron himself is keeping his options open, but admits that a move to England could be too hard to resist.

“I wouldn’t mind England. I’ve always wanted to play there. I’m not going to be picky,” he said.

“I would love England. I think just overall the soccer there and the fan experience and just everything in general would be great.”

According to Guillem Balague, Drogba has a clause in his contract with Shanghai that lets him join Barca if they approach him, and apparently he's meeting them tomorrow.
