Where does this series go from there in the comics?
The Lennie James episode was my peak. Everything else was rather lame. Guvner isn't a lousy villain he just gets WAY too much screen time.
Can't believe they wasted all that time only to not kill him. Shane must be zombie pissed.
If you really want to know how shit went down in the comics (not that it really matters because the show has been a huge departure from the comics since season two)
The Governor and his army of Woodbury citizens overran the prison and killed a lot of Rick's crew including Lori and their infant daughter (which gets the Governor killed by one of his own). The survivors regroup at Hershel's farm, hook up with some travelers passing through, and head off to D.C.
Since The Governor is still alive in the show, I imagine he'll be back next season at some point, but I have a hard time believing that he'd be able to gather the numbers to mount an assault now that most of Woodbury is living at the prison.
