WR Scott Mescudi address media after monster game
Trying to make the most of his opportunities as a WR on the up and coming Daytona State Falcons, WR Scott Mescudi had a big game against the Terps. Here is what he had to say after the game with reporter Erin Andrews.
EA: So how does it feel after waiting a few weeks to finally get on the field and show your talent?
SM: It is a great feeling man. I am a true believer in everyone should get the chance to show what they can do, and today was my day to prove to not only myself and the team, but to my fans, and to god. I feel like I did that.
EA: It may come as a surprise to some that your first collegiate TD came as not a receiving one, but on an option run. How do does that make you feel?
SM: Man it don't matter how I score, as long as I am doing my part to try and help the team win. Once I caught that option pitch, I knew I was gone.
EA: We know you are good friends with former Maryland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. How did it feel to perform so well in his former stomping grounds?
SM: Man, me and DHB go back to middle school it felt amazing to be able to duplicate some of the things he did back when he was playing on this field. I try to model my game after him as much as I can, and hopefully today people could see that.
EA: Alright, last question. There have been rumors that you have a career lined up just in case football doesn't work out. What is that all about?
SM: Yeah, that is true...I'm trying to enter the rapping/entertainment industry as well. I look up to people like Rasheed Wallace and Shaq, but hopefully my music is a lot better than theirs. I hope everyone cops my album which drops September 15th, Man On The Moon: End Of The Day. Peace and Love to everyone.

Coach Scolpa Addresses some issues
"First issue I'd like to discuss is basically the Quarterback situation. I have been a man to give chances and not give up on someone. Just need to say that before I announce what is going to happen here. Basically Aldridge, our current starting QB, has suffered minor injuries in the last 2 games. He is only a freshman so he will be sat for a couple games to get his health and endurance up. Now he wasn't doing too hot before this point, so it kinda works itself out. Raw Blung will be starting for the next 2 games so we can see what he can do. I would not really call this a QB battle, but hey, competition breeds champions".
"2nd issue that has came to my attention. This one is tough. We have already got a big mouth on the team I have been notified. Jose Villasmil is a player that needs some time to cool down and chill out for a bit. If he doesn't get his act together after the next 2 weeks of me benching him, he should start looking to transfer to another school. He also was dropping alot of easy AND hard passes. In his place Ethan Woy will be starting with Simmons and Scott Mescudi in the slot. If Mescudi does well and Villasmil continues to be disrespectful then Mescudi WILL start over Jose. End of.
