As for those putting Schaub in their top ten, he's never been to a playoff game, much less won one. The yardage was nice this year, until you remember that he did it by throwing 5 yard slants to Andre Johnson and can't throw any farther than Ken Dorsey.

Every single passing oriented offence is in the top 10 in that list. Colts/Saints/Pats/Packers...they are all right there too. So that stat doesn't exactly solidify your point, but I'll concede you probably have something here.

He's only had 3 seasons as a starter.

11, 11 and 16. So he's never had a chance to do until this coming season.

And even in his 16 game season last year he went off injured leading to Grossman throwing a pick and giving the Jags a comfy lead

Well I guess this season will determine how fragile he is but I wouldn't condemn him just yet, but there's grounds for it.

One thing that I don't get about most of these lists is how low some have Ben Roethlisberger…especially when he’s behind guys like Shaub, Rivers, Rodgers, etc who are all guys who put up a lot of stats, but not much else. We often get into discussions about QB’s performing when it matters and on the biggest stage. We elevate guys based on this rational and condemn guys who don’t perform when it matters most. I am a Baltimore Ravens fan, so I get to see a lot of Roethlisberger, but IMO other than Peyton Manning there is no other QB that I fear more than Roethlisberger. I understand he isn’t always orthodox, but the guy with 2 minutes left is deadly. He has 2 Superbowls and has proven himself to be an elite QB. Very underrated.
