Why all the Carson Palmer hate? I put them in order of what I thought of him and he'd rank 15 for me next year barely putting him in the top half of the league.

He led his team to the playoffs with only one real pass catching threat in 85. Coles is about done at this point in his career and Caldwell emerged as a decent possession guy this year but I wouldn't consider either of them as better than average. They had a great year rushing the ball which came out of nowhere but I'd be surprised if Cedric Benson repeats last season.

He maybe never be that elite level QB that he looked pre Steelers cheap shot but he's still in the mix for Top 10 QB's in the league.

Because he still had a pretty good year last year despite missing a year of football and since it generally takes 2-3 years for someone to heal completely from that kind of injury I expect him to return back to pre-injury form.

Because he and the Patriots are going to be in the mix for the superbowl come week 17.. 1 sub-par year by his standards shouldn't be enough to push him down to #7.

He also averaged 28 tds in that time.
He had 28 this year.

He averaged 12.28 INT's in that time.

Remember Brady was considered by most to be the best by some, and 2nd by most when he wasn't puting up superior numbers. He was however winning SB's. I don't know where that places him now exactly but best in the league no way, 2nd best most unlikely.

I agree the way he played last year I wouldn't consider him the best or second best. However, I thought the way he played last year was not one of his best years despite his stats. I thought he played much better in 07 (of course), 06, 04, and 03 where I considered him a top 3 QB in the NFL.

While it is fair enough that Romo and Rodgers perhaps had better seasons than Brady, you seem to be pretending that the years 2001-2008 never happened and last year is the only basis on your list. Did you have Derek Anderson in your top 10 coming into the 2008 season?

They couldn't get past Baltimore. Patriots really didn't do "better" than they did when Cassel was in there. I just don't believe Brady's Top 5 anymore. Sure, he won Super Bowls, that's nice. Statistically and on the playing field, there were quarterbacks who were clearly better than him this year. His standout games, in my mind, was the first game versus Buffalo with the comeback, the schallacking of the depleted Titans defense, and his game against Jacksonville. Other than that, he was moderate.

As I have already said Brady did not have one his best seasons. I thought it was good for someone missing a year of football but not one of his best seasons. It usually takes players 2-3 years to fully get back from that type of injury. As I have said I expect Brady to return to his pre injury form where he was one of the two best QBs in the NFL. As for All Pro wideouts technically Welker is the only all-pro one.

What is it you like so much about Rodgers? Was it the 2 yards per game he averaged over Brady? The worse completion percentage? The six fewer interceptions? The two additional touchdowns? or the 44 more sacks?

Just wondering what you saw in one season of Rodgers that eliminates Tom Brady's body of work? Coming off of injury, he had a solid season by his standards, and he still must be considered among the elite until proven otherwise.

YPG for passing is a pretty retarded stat. Don't you think that that 9th ranked rushing attack and 6th ranked defense took a little pressure off of Palmer so he didn't have to air it out 40 times a game. Ever considered that they were 27th in passing attempts?

No doubt he was driving that bus last year with that shitty receiving core and no TE to speak of. But I'd be hard pressed to put him in the bottom half of starting QB's b/c of 1 bad year. I think people are forgetting 2005/06/07 very easily when the guy actually had weapons.

Crapson Palmer threw 9 TDs, 7 Interceptions in games with 30 or more passing attempts in 2009/10, playoff game included.

I wonder why Marvin Lewis decided not to air it out? I mean, if you can't depend on your ''franchise QB'' to throw the ball 30 fucking times, something is wrong. Crapson Palmer is hot shit.
