Jones' striking didn't seem all that impressive against Bader, I don't think he wanted to open up as much due to his power. If that was the case, things won't get any easier against Shogun.
 
Outside of the second Machida fight not overly impressed with UFC version of Shogun.
Head kicks and stomps have been sorely missing.

Why is the UFC still putting on squash matches for co-main events of a PPV?

Faber vs a firefighter on a PPV, wtf? I thought the UFC was this top of the line org where the best fight the best 3 times a year?

Why is Champs fighting full time engineers and co-main event former champs fighting full time firefighters?

Good thing they bought Strikeforce, maybe they can start putting on quality top to bottom PPVs for 50 bucks, oh wait, that was supposed to happen after buying Pride, maybe next buyout...

He has a freakish build , immense talent , already has highlight reel , hes got the personality , charisma , and most of all extremely well spoken for a fighter . Yeah god forbid they want him to win over another guy who cant be sold , is boring as nails ,barely speaks the language , and most will never know his name.

Shogun is a beast and I wont be disappointed if he wins ((so long as its a good fight)) but Jones winning is better for MMA.

Untested chin and untested legs gives Shogun the benefit of the doubt.

10" reach against a guy who needs to close distance is why I went Jones.

I dont see him trying to leg kick all fight the way he did in Machida I .
