Well so much for Shogun being the smart bet , and Rashad not disliking Jones enough to fight him , Shoguns back etc.


Bones reach is insane. He put on a clinic on how to use a reach advantage.
Shogun as usual has the stamina of a bucket of grease.

Rashads been building animosity for a long time now. Hes not a fool. Noone in immediate contention has the tools to beat Jones. Rashad however does have the speed to match , the KO power , and most of all hes been dealing with Jones reach for a long long time. Rashads fears were justified and his resentment sure seems to come from knowing this kid probbaly got the better of him in practice. But leaving camp and already knowing how Jones trains and fights will be a good advantage.

Davis is almost a physical match but almost isnt good enough. Machidas style is awkward enough to catch Jones. lol @ King Mo or Roger Gracie standing a chance.


As I said before an eventual superfight with And1 is what Id like to see.

He's not done, and I don't think Rua should instantly give up on 205. If his cardio is in question at 205, I don't exactly see it being a lot better at 185. There are a couple interesting fights for him at 205 - Rampage and Forrest mainly. I'd love to see Rua vs. And1 at 185, though. That's been a dream fight for me although it would be under less than epic circumstances.

Unfortunately, the cutting down talk is just speculation because Rua has said he would never return to MW and would only consider a jump to HW. How adamant he is about that we don't know.

Rua would have KO'd Evans.
