I've given Weidman a ton of credit in this very thread and in the chatberx.

I think he scouted Silva better than anyone since Silva stepped foot in the UFC. Sonnen I was a matchup nightmare for Silva...but Weidman let Silva do what Silva does and caught him. Not only was it Weidman's reach, he was in close quarters with Silva and still had to lean in hard and strong to connect...Silva's flexibility and agility make it so that punch that connected needed to be set up and the puncher needed to take the risk.

I mean...how many years has he been doing the quazi drunken kung fu shit, clowning around...was it worse than before against Weidman...of course it was...but this is a guy that has been doing this shit for years.

Its pretty much already done, they were gonna do it UFC 168, but I guess they decided to throw the chicks a bone. (no pun intended :saxual:) Would be surprised if it wasnt 169 or 170.

Ive learned not to take anything a fighter says post-fight coming off a loss seriously, emotions are running wild and they always end up saying dumb shit.
 
It'll be the Superbowl show unless for whatever reason, the UFC decides they don't want the big fight piggybacking the big game.

Yep, I don't really listen to these guys when they say anything, that's why hype really doesn't fire me up, "OMG, Chael says Anderson sucks! I gotta buy that ppv!"

Shows you that Anderson wanted to win, saying he didn't want to defend his title anymore? Lol, makes no sense, they let this guy have 3 fights at LHW while having the belt, he can fight anyone he wants and put the belt on hold, no champ wants to lose his belt, ever, especially by violent KO
