CoD uses fictitious factions and fictitious locations. MoH uses all the real shit. While I respect that they are actually doing that I know I for one personally feel a bit dirty using the Taliban as my character. When I get the game and have a choice I will always choose the U.S. Military. I despise everything those shitbag terrorits stand for, and don't want to have anything to do with them, video game or not.
I really do appreciate the realism EA is going for and I'm glad I can shoot Taliban fuckholes in the face in the campaign but I almost wish they could've done something different with the multiplayer factions.

That's a good question. I guess there is a serious disconnect because everything is still a bit cartoony and again, the entire world is fictitious. If the next game were GTA: Baltimore and the main character was gunning down the local police I'd probably feel a whole lot differently.

Assuming they did have that back then dumbass. If soldiers during WWII had video games I assure you a good percentage wouldn't want to play CoD 2 or 3 where they played as the Germans.
Even now, I'm a cop. I don't have a problem playing a single player game like GTA where I kill a cop here of there. But playing a multiplayer mode where it's Thugs vs Cops. I'm pretty sure I would never want to play as the Thugs.
