thats why the people i play here has been dumbed down, I havent had any complaints really about myself, but I see guys that will bend their own rules when the game is on the line or when it suits them.

I'll give you that. You guys definitely have to be good at the video game. Doesn't mean you have to know the game of football, though, You have to know the video game and how to exploit it. To me, that's not really skill.

But you do make a good point when you say you have a great Madden mind. I also know you were a good baller before you went all out freestyle on us, so you definitely have a good football mind as well.

I just think these guys practice no real football strategies and just lab all day on how they can run a play that confuses a computer to where you get instant pressure or wide open receivers. That's not football.

When I play Madden, I have my strategy when I go into a game, which is obviously the spread offense. I then change my strategy depending on if I'm being blitzed to death, if the guy is taking away my underneath passes, if he's taking away the big play, etc. I adjust based on what I see. That's football. You just run the plays that you know leaves guys wide open regardless of what your opponent does, which is exploiting a video game. Not football. That's just my opinion and I know you got yours.

You know I got nothin but love for ya Korn and want you to do well and win all these tournaments. You spend alot of time and money on Madden, so don't take this as hating.

But actually you still have to seperate the game of Madden and REAL FOOTBALL as well because of the user skills. Korn does have a good Madden Mind and I would say someone like yourself has a good Strategic Madden Mind. On the other hand, someone like me has a good REAL FOOTBALL mind but it hasn't ever translated into a top 10 player. The main reason is that my user skillz are just mid level. Guys like you and Korn have elite user skills. I for one am not ready to admit that I've lost to guys like DSA,Mobb,DNA (lol), Izzy (LMFAO)etc because they no more about THE GAME OF FOOTBALL then me.

But my strategy is a good FOOTBALL strategy, too. I feel I know the game of football as well as anyone that I play, probably better, and its why I feel I shouldn't lose that often because, in my mind, I feel I know the game (both Madden and real football) better than my opponent.

Call it cocky, but that's how I go about it. It doesn't mean that you or anyone else doesn't know football, I just feel I know it better.

The user skills is just an added bonus. It's not really a factor on PS3, but on PS2, it was a good crutch to have to bail yourself out of a play that didn't look promising from the start.

In terms of a SIM game, it's more about play calling now more than ever. Stick skills won't bail you out like it did on PS2.
