It's not a bad film. Sofia Coppola's movies are just VERY quiet.

Watched Moneyball last night which I loved, held my interest from the beginning to end at every point.

Then watched Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, felt like it started off a bit slow, but it was needed to set up the story/characters. Overall it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

This is probably my childhood favorite movie. When I was a youngin' around ~8 my parents got a mini van with a huge block in between the passenger and driver seat that had a 4 inch piece of shit tv. But on every road trip (brother and I played travel soccer and travel baseball) we would rotate between 4 VHSs we had that included Big Daddy, Dr. Doolittle, Rush Hour, and the first Austin Powers.

Big Daddy was just a classic movie with a pretty good cast and Adam Sandler back when he was actually pretty good. 90s feel with a great soundtrack and not so terrible storyline in NYC, I love this movie.

In actuality, this series brings up many valid points with factual evidence. I enjoy the shit out of it.

Rented this from PSN to see the original film.

There's less complexity and the story is straightforward up until the Epilogue... seeing as there's two more movies in the Swedish adaptations of the books (Subbed so if don't like reading or non-'Merican acting, you're SOL), there's more to look forward to from Mikael and Lisbeth.

I'd be a Philistine if I didn't recommend this as a companion to the remake though... both tell the story wonderfully, with their own twists and plot points (one features 100% less Cat Murder for instance), so you can't go wrong with either and you gotta watch both IMO.

A great documentary to end a great series. It gives insight of what has been going down inside this case over recent years along what happened in August of 2011. It still does not leave you with a feeling of happiness or a feeling that justice has yet been served, it leaves you with a feeling of the exact opposite in a way. It was a great watch.

Contagion - Was it a decent movie? Yes. Do I have any desire to ever watch it again? No.


I downloaded basically the remainder of the films I really want to see that were made this year and will probably watch them then forget about trying to watch so many new movies.

Solid workrate, but it just never got going. Lost me at points, could have eliminated a few redundant spots, felt like a never ending series of restholds. Can't call it bad, but it never reeled me in. Flat finish.
