This movie was good until the end I felt. The twist was just too implausible and didn't really make me care. Still a solid political thriller and Rachel McAdams is hot.

The Player: 8.9/10 - A very smart, well-done film about Hollywood. This movie is loaded with "Hollywood insider jokes" (from IMDb), but is also held together with a lot of symbolism, use of irony, and an overall satirical feeling, poking fun of Hollywood and is made apparent by the ending. This is not your normal Hollywood film that's for sure. Lastly, Tim Robbins gives a great performance...pre-Shawshank too.

Was a good movie, but I didn't realize what the huge amount of hype was behind it. I loved having to just believe so much from the movie without any real kind of explanation (humans can understand alien language and vice versa, etc) Either way, it was pretty entertaining, despite not really feeling any kind of emotional connection to the plot.

Crank 1 was a 4 at best...my favorite Jason Statham movie. Absolutely over the top ridiculousness. You cannot take this movie serious at all. Action , Nudity , hysterical lines and moments.
Its like a Tarantino movie + GTA+ skinemax+ LSD.

Didn't it crack MaddenMania's top 20 movies of all-time? I'm sorry, but if you can't think of at least 50 movies better than Usual Suspects, you need to start watching a few more films. I can name 100.

Personally, I think the performances alone in Fight Club warrant it a great rating and Kevin Spacey's acting in The Usual Suspects really puts it over the top.
