Which Young QB Would You Build Around

Have you seen Joe Cool in the clutch? The man is accurate and cool, hes calmer than Tom Brady. I can't think which game it was but they were down and would have came back in Clayton and Mason wouldn't have dropped the perfectly accurate balls that Joe Cool hit them with.

Joe Flacco had a better year this year than Ryan by far in my opinion. With less talent around him.

Matt Ryan has 0.

However Matt Ryan has more Touchdowns in his 1 game than Flacco has in his 5. It's not a team sport, and the only thing that matters for a Quarterback is wins. :banghead:

What Saluki said Ryan was injured for some of the year and playing hurt, also this year his RB was also hurt while Ray Rice(my boy) exploded through defenses.

Anyway, while i do like Staffords gut for playing through an injury and winning a game, i went with Ryan. Even though Stafford impressed me this year more than any QB who had more INT's than TD's in any season.

I am surprised to see him with this many votes over Flacco though. The two are neck-and-neck and should be the Brady/Manning of this generation.

At least I hope.
 
I went with Stafford, yes I'm a homer. I do think that of the guys on that list, Stafford has the highest upside. Ryan is obviously the best currently on that list but I feel Stafford has the potential to be better than all of the guys. Will it actually happen, he's a Lion, so probably not.

I could see Stafford and Sanchez up there too. I'd say Freeman. But, the team around him is worse then the team around Stafford. And thats saying something..

Matt Stafford.
He showed extreme leadership abillities, love for the game, and will to win this season. The things he isn't pro bowl class in can probably all be learn.
 
Tough no doubt but I leaned Sanchez.

Ryan is a future top flight guy and I like Stafford, too. Just something about Sanchez tells me the kid will be a winner more times than not. Nothing concrete obviously but I have seen more of him than any of the other young guys.

I think that Sanchez has more weapons around him. We have 3 good running backs, a tight end that can grow into a star not to mention Edwards (if he can catch the ball) and Cotchery (who is severely underrated). Not to mention our defense is pretty fantastic.

Ryan doesn't have many good targets to throw to besides Gonzalez.

Stafford is playing for the Lions. What more do I have to say. Sure he as the Megatron...but still.

I'd comment on Flacco, but I know nothing about the Ranvens.
 
What a lot of people dont realize when looking at Matt Ryan this year is that his toe injury was supposed to keep him out the rest of the season. He instead comes back for the last 3 games (winning them all on his own without Michael Turner) And gets the franchise their first back to back winning season in the process.

As much as I hate Flacco, once he gets a legit #1 receiver I could definitely see Ryan/Flacco become the new Manning/Brady of this generation.

Roddy White? The guy who is better than Braylon Edwards

Michael Turner? Also better than at least two of your runningbacks

Sanchez does have a better o-line though

Everytime I see Flacco, it's him fucking-up in the playoffs. Granted, I still think it's because of play selection. TWO YEARS IN A ROW, they've made it to the playoffs by way of the running game. TWO YEARS IN A ROW, they've lost to eventual Super Bowl competitors by throwing too much.

I voted for Flacco... he just needs to make the right decisions down the stretch and he really needs a better #1 receiver.
