Everytime I see Flacco, it's him fucking-up in the playoffs. Granted, I still think it's because of play selection. TWO YEARS IN A ROW, they've made it to the playoffs by way of the running game. TWO YEARS IN A ROW, they've lost to eventual Super Bowl competitors by throwing too much.

The only way to beat the Colts [normally] is to be balanced and pass on early downs. If you go with the normal run, run, pass they will kill you. I'm shocked they didn't try and use McGahee more v us ... Rice is the kind of back that Indy don't mind becuase he's small and quick like the D. McGahee is the kind of back they struggle with because he's big and can break tackles while being fast enough to keep the D honest on the outside

I think that Sanchez has more weapons around him. We have 3 good running backs, a tight end that can grow into a star not to mention Edwards (if he can catch the ball) and Cotchery (who is severely underrated). Not to mention our defense is pretty fantastic.

Ryan doesn't have many good targets to throw to besides Gonzalez.

Stafford is playing for the Lions. What more do I have to say. Sure he as the Megatron...but still.

I'd comment on Flacco, but I know nothing about the Ranvens.

And JHen's right, a lot of people are discounting the fact that Ryan came back from an injury when we were 6-7 and led us on a 3-game win streak to close the season, including a win over the Jets in the Meadowlands.

I think the criteria was that you had to be either in the league for two years or less. I would have chosen Ben too, if other quarterbacks in his age range would be included.

I am surprised to see him with this many votes over Flacco though. The two are neck-and-neck and should be the Brady/Manning of this generation.

What a lot of people dont realize when looking at Matt Ryan this year is that his toe injury was supposed to keep him out the rest of the season. He instead comes back for the last 3 games (winning them all on his own without Michael Turner) And gets the franchise their first back to back winning season in the process.

As much as I hate Flacco, once he gets a legit #1 receiver I could definitely see Ryan/Flacco become the new Manning/Brady of this generation.

This is an idea that needs to stop. Ryan/Flacco will not be the "next Manning/Brady" or "Manning/Brady of this generation". If there are two quarterbacks that ware going to do that, it will be Ben Roethlisberger (Tom Brady) and Aaron Rodgers (Peyton Manning). They've even begun to start "mimicking their careers". Roethlisberger had early, quick success winning two championships. Rodgers has a huge arm, great accuracy, and is one of the finest quarterbacks in the league.

Ryan and Flacco have shown zero glimpses of anything Brady or Manning-esque.

Ah... I got ya. However, I think I'd pick Stafford. He was in that shithole they call Detroit and played his heart out. If I started a team I would want a QB with physical gifts as well as heart. He's got both of those.

I'd argue it's Big Ben and Rivers . I think Rodgers works in that comparision too though
