Henne should be on this, Ryan is the obvious choice, yet i voted for sanchez since he wasn't the obvious choice. After ryan, its a wash between the rest.

This is an idea that needs to stop. Ryan/Flacco will not be the "next Manning/Brady" or "Manning/Brady of this generation". If there are two quarterbacks that ware going to do that, it will be Ben Roethlisberger (Tom Brady) and Aaron Rodgers (Peyton Manning). They've even begun to start "mimicking their careers". Roethlisberger had early, quick success winning two championships. Rodgers has a huge arm, great accuracy, and is one of the finest quarterbacks in the league.

Ryan and Flacco have shown zero glimpses of anything Brady or Manning-esque.

Ok, first of all, people who still think that they are being clever by saying "Fail" are exceedingly gay. Second of all, perhaps I should have said draft class instead. We already know Roethlisberger and Rodgers are good, they've made it, they are in their primes. Ryan and Flacco are the two "young" QBs yet to hit their prime who are most directly compared.

Forgive me for ignoring people who weren't even in this poll and are already established QBs.

Not even close. I watched this dude when he was healthy his rookie year. He wasn't game managing. He was picking defenses apart with the poise of a ten year vet. Haven't seen any of the others prove they can do that yet.

However Matt Ryan has more Touchdowns in his 1 game than Flacco has in his 5. It's not a team sport, and the only thing that matters for a Quarterback is wins. :banghead:

And just wait until Jim Zorn gets his hands on him.

If Flacco gets a reliable big play WR .. he's going to really take off.

Matt Ryan is just as talented, but I think what you see is kind of what you get with Ryan. He's the prototypical QB.. very coachable.. but I don't see him doing much more than he has already... aside from maybe improving on yards and lowering his interceptions.

Flacco on the other hand, he has only begun to really tap into his potential, and I think Zorn is going to really polish this kid to be a star.

I chose Ryan in this poll because I think you can plug him into any offense and be okay. But if you had a team that was already talented, similar to the Ravens and the Jets this year with Sanchez -- I think you have to go Flacco.

It's a toss up either way though.

If Matt Ryan had a defense behind him, he'd have 3+ playoff wins too. Also don' forget Ryan missed a couple games this year.
