And this is really the kicker. Go ask Canadian's who GSP is, and I guarentee you will get people who will say "I have no idea who that guy is". But you ask people "Who is the great one" they know right away it is Wayne. You don't even need to say the guys name and he is known.

You are trying to compare a guy who is a Canadian Legend, to a guy who isn't known outside of the MMA circle.

Thats like saying Jordan is greater than Ali because of all the titles, MVPs, finals MVPs, defensive player, etc...Ali has won a gold medal and the HW title, thats really the only awards you can 'win' that mean anything, different sports have different set of awards

Because you weren't talking about just Canadian MMA guys and if you were than that means Steve Nash should be in the debate because he's the best Canadian basketball player of all time, but his career doesn't put him up there with the top guys and it doesn't compare to Gretzky who is the greatest hockey player of all time.

Pro Wrestlers are definitely athletes. What they do is not a sport, but to not call them athletes is a grave injustice to the amount of physical activity they do.
