On 360 v good "freestyle" people , callin cover 3 and 4 every down will get you buttraped. Rockets every down , the LT button (When throwing not catching) makes 360 user catching so easy its not even funny. Add in fb dives and screens and the scores gonna get ugly v that d.

When you say who is the best baller on the site, you get multiple opinions. If I said, no glitches allowed (HB Direct, FG Blocks, QB Walk, Line of Scrimmage Bomb Glitch are the GLITCHES DENOUNCED AT MADDEN CHALLENGES AND ANY MADDEN TOURNAMENT) then there are probably two, maybe three guys here that qualify as the best Madden players. There is nothing "cheesy" about user catching. It's defendable. These so-called "sim" guys classify themselves as such because it's their crutch when they can't defend something they haven't seen....they can just say "well I'm sim" or "that's cheese". It's like a get out of jail free card.

Oh, this guy has a really effective user catch that I'm not used to defending. Instead of rolling the dice to get doubles for three turns, here's my get out of jail free card....."IM SIM! Therefore your style of play doesn't count in my book!"

That's the jist of it. Ever notice that self-proclaimed sim ballers are undefeated by their "standards"? That's because their standards grow to null and void anything they have trouble defending, and any new rule can be enforced retroactive to previous losses.

That's why I'm a freestyle player. No excuses, if you beat me without using any sanctioned glitches (determined by EA) then YOU BEAT ME. There's not many guys out there like that. Most "sim guys" never lose, because they redefine "sim" after each loss....

Period.

Oh, and for the record...my D isn't "on lock" because I sit in f@g zones all game. It's "on lock" because I have "original/relatively unknown except for 2 or 3 other guys" blitz schemes. Heat is harder to get this year. So blitzes aren't as easy to get like the 08 A-Gappers,

Just the other day Saluki beat me pretty bad in a SIM game
and right after that me and Archer played Freestyle and he beat me so bad that his QB was breaking records on me.
I have no problem with those 2 games, Those 2 would've had every right to talk trash after our games.

You on the other hand didn't even beat me our 2nd game because it DC'd.
And the 1st game you won because I fumbled on a kickoff and you scooped it up for an easy TD.

So don't act like you've dominated me at all because you haven't.

HoustonBoy, there was a minute left, you had 1 timeout, needed an onside kick, and a whole 'nother score. Get it through your head. Both were fair and square. Not to mention there hasn't been a fumble in our 2 games that I didn't user strip you. Remember the 15 free yards I gave you before the screen pass because Darrick Brown ripped Willie Parker's facemask off?: User strip attempt.

I'll ask you for a second time. Do you want to play a 1 minute quarter? Same teams, same playbooks (though I just need the kneel), and you only have one timeout? You onside and get it, you still gotta score in a minute. I get the onside, game over.....how's that sound?????

If you say no, then it pretty much confirms what I said: the game was over anyways....

If I wanted to play cheese fest 2000 I could, but that's not how I or most other people on this site like to play. Give someone with great sim skills time to practice cheese and suddenly you have a whole new ball game.

When OFFENSIVE LINEMAN can catch a rocket catch, and a linebacker in a freestyle league has 1600 receiving yards, then it is a flaw in the game that you "abuse" because you figured out a 3 button combo.

Congrats, go play Street Fighter if you think you're the man for learning button combos.

If somebody wants to roll out on me all day or go for it on every 4th then I have no problem.

but I do hate the RC and the quick fade glitch. People think they're good because they know how to do that. I can't wait to see what they're all going to be doing on the next madden when that's going to be gone.

This is exactly what I'm talking about....You are doing nothing but confirming what I already said....

And for the record, a slower WR is better for the RC (No need for 99 speed). That, and it's a 6 button combo....

The question is who is the best baller on the site. I gave my opinion. If you have a problem with me user catching/setting up blitzes, then you should go play Head Coach....where it's all strategy and no user stick....because Madden is a game of stick work and pre-snap adjustments. Head Coach provides the adjustments, and no stick work...

If there was a tournament at VSN that went by EA's rules as far as gameplay goes, then I would pick Archer or myself to be there at the end. That's my opinion. But of course, that because I can rocket glitch and it's and "exploit"....

Well that's why I don't fit well in any leagues.

The only reason I really don't like SIM leagues is because of the rules like....

You can only go for it on 4th in this situation
You can't run this play more than 4 times a game
You can't come out in this formation unless the offense is in this one....

So then I go to freestyle leagues and I face nothing but RC's and other catching glitches the whole game.

Now I do roll out of the pocket like crazy and do other stuff that's no in the NFL but that's just part of my strategy and the right call on Defense can shut it down.

RCing on the other hand is no strategy, it has nothing to do with real football it's just a glitch that needs to be taken out. I can't tell you how many times I've had all 4 of my DB's at the same time caught on by Matt Jones.
