If Marty plays any more in this tourny I am going to be pissed. Seriously, what in the fuck was he doing. Baseball swing? and the dive poke? Marty lost this game. Honestly they need to go with Roberto against Germany because in two games marty has let in 7 goals. I realize Roberto played shitty Norway, but at this point, I say you have to go back to him because Marty just looks shacky in net.

Also, if Perry would have actually played the Puck, the empty net would not have happened.

I don't expect the American's here to actually know, but Canada dominated the majority of that game. The only reason they won was shitty goaltending by Marty and Miller standing on his head. They got out shot, out hit and out played but caught lucky breaks. And that is sometimes all you need.

He did have a good game, but if you take away Marty's stupidity, it's a 3-3 game. But instead he tries to slam one for the fence like he tries to do in the NHL. At this point I'd tell Roberto to get ready to start and Fluery to get ready to back up.

Miller was the reason for the result, he was spectacular.

There was nothing "superior" about that game. Seriously, pull your blinders off. They got outshot 45-23. They got out hit and out played. They won because Marty caused two goals that should never have happened. You have got to be the most biased hockey fan in every aspect.

I don't deny I am worried for Team Canada (they just haven't looked right all tourney), but I am not handing out the gold, silver or bronze to any team so far in this tourney.

Cause after Canada disposes of Germany, we're in the Quarterfinals and equally accomplished to any of the other quarter final teams.

Well, I originally said I wanted Luongo and took it back. After tonights game, I should have stuck with my instincts. Brodeurs puck playing antics without the trapezoid made me nervous every single time, and in the end cost us a goal. I'd rather have Luongo stay in his net and make the saves. Hopefully Babcock thinks the same and gives him the play in game to get right.

I was happy we put more pucks on net tonight. However, we have to get used to teams packing the middle against us. Fancy dekes mean nothing if we can't get any fucking shots off. Nash and Iginla were too happy to head out to the wings and leave us with no one in front. Let Weber blast from the point and look for tips

It was said before, if Canada wins this game, half the Americans posting here don't say a thing. They think that was an amazing game by the USA team (even you believe that) yet it was simply an amazing game for Miller, a terrible game for Marty that made that game the way it was.

Really, having to play an extra game doesn't mean much to us. We play Germany which we should have no problem with and then we move on. And as Dave said, we could use that extra day. I get to see more Canada hockey, so I am happy.

If I am pissed at anything, it is Marty's play. USA has really nothing to do with that.
