You're probably right. Although I can't imagine they'd have to pay for LC. That game has been hyped since last year.

And it's not like anyone besides people like us have heard of Shank or Comic Jumper. Hell, CJ is from Twisted Pixel, a very small developer. They need all the help they can get. they make great games like The Maw and 'Splosion Man but it's not like they are a household name.

Well, Twisted Pixel paid for 'Splosion Man to be in the SoA last year so I'm think they figure that they have a high enough profile, combined with (presumably) high scores to release Comic Jumper outside of it.

Also, Comic Jumper SHOULD come out this year, but who knows when.

Anyone else try Blacklight: Tango Down? I got it last night and had a blast with it. For a $15 game, the value is unrivaled. It's a poor man's Call of Duty with a ton of weapon unlocks and ways to customize your character.

I didn't give the demo much of a shot but I know Buzzman said it was garbage. I've heard a lot of good things though.

Also, apparently for those that get the 360 version of Lara Croft you will be entitled to download the first DLC pack for FREE for the first 30 days of release. Apparently it is a sort of apology for not having online ready to go.http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/65180

It looks like I may as well download this version. You can't go wrong with free dlc.

I'm not really impressed with Shank. Maybe it's because I suck at game where you have to string together comboes (ala fighting games) but it's not doing anything for me. It reminds me way too much of the Dishwasher.

Try to get the Mrs. involved with co-op Twigg...it's worth every second. I don't know if the puzzles are the same (I imagine that they aren't, but who knows) but some of them use the co-op abilities so cleverly. It's great.

She already liked the demo but she's waiting until I finish the single player to start co-op.

lol....shitty husband. YEah I am waiting till my buddy from work to get home from vacation. Confirm he is going to buy it and then we will wait till september for the free DLC.

This might be my 360 GotY. Keep in mind I'm not a Mass Effect guy and never played it. I did really like Alan Wake but I can't get over how awesome this game is for $15. It's definitely 2010's Shadow Complex.

Has anyone ever heard of an arcade game called Alien Breed? I know I haven't. I saw over at CAG it was going to be on sale for 400 pts this week and decided to check it out. It's pretty damn cool. It's an isometric view, like Lara Croft, but on a spaceship with attacking aliens. The graphics and look remind me of an isometric Shadow Complex and it feels like the Alien movies.

It also has online co-op. I think I'll be downloading the full version. I strongly suggest at least checking it out.

It looks to be episodic, hence the "Episode 1" although I hadn't heard about the game at all let alone future episodes.

I did some research and it looks like it is coming to PS3, maybe tomorrow, with some extra content.
Episode 2 is supposed to be" coming soon" to 360.

life will be much easier for you if you just realize almost all arcade games now are $15. If they suck they will drop price but why bother anyway.
