my steam files are completely gone. i am the only one who uses this PC and have no idea where the folder went. searched my PC and its nowhere to be found

Someone went into add/remove programs.

Although I've never had any real reason to store the games I have all my steam games backed up on an external hard drive just because I don't really feel like going through and redownloading the 300+gigs of games I currently have.

its just bizaare. my C>Program Files (x86) > Steam ...was gone.
I downloaded SR3 along with Metro 2033 about 2 weeks ago. i decided to play SR3 and the icon was dead. so i double clicked steam and that icon was dead. thats when i went to the folder and saw it was gone.

my 9 year old is the only one who used this pc 2 weeks ago. its highly unlikely she even knows how to add remove programs. shit doesnt just disappear though, so who knows.

not a big deal. down re download steam and SR3

there is a problem solved. Revo Unistaller. for some reason when i uninstall a game using this program it is removing steam too. It never did that before.

i just noticed it because Revo said Skyrim was still installed, so i clicked on it to remove it and right after i clicked on steam and sure enough it was gone

i wont be using revo to uninstall any steam apps

You should probably never use Revo for anything. That program has literally never done anything good for me ever.

I have the worst goddamn luck with Sony's Dualshock 3's. I am now going to need my 4th one, as they keep breaking on me for no conceivable reason. Is this a thing that I'm unaware of? Meanwhile, I'm still using my original PS2 controller from fucking 12 years ago without a hitch.

Are the buttons messing up? If so, it's probably because the strip that connects the buttons to the main board is loose, and the connections are getting crossed.

The only issue I've had with any controllers form this generation period are with the controllers that came with my Gears of War console. I exchanged them twice and still have one that constantly disconnects. I wish I was tech savvy enough to figure out what the deal is. I know it's a manufacturing defect because it mostly happens when I seem to squeeze hard on the controller. I've tried messig with the battery housing but nothing seems to work. That and just the shitty play n charge kits that MS makes. Those things are garbage.
