Here's my team in January 2015.

I made a mistake in buying David Silva. I'm overpaying him ($325,000 per week which forced me to pay that to Bale x2) and Johnson and Arfa/Pedro played better than him. Plus Bale takes over my AML spot again. I originally intended to play Bale at LB and sent Baines on loan to Fulham (mistake). Signed Baines to a long term deal and won't be sending him anywhere anymore, he's remaining a Blue.

(Unsurprisingly) van der Vaart's season has been cut short once again for me, only this time it will effect more than just this season. He's going to be shelved for 7 to 9 months with damaged cruciate ligaments. I'm currently at the end of February, so there's a good chance he won't play for me again until January.

We're currently trailing Arsenal by 8 points in the league with 9 games to go. We're also 7 behind 2nd place Man U. Definitely going to be a lot tougher without his production. He has 7 goals and 14 assists in 27 appearances.

In the Champions League...we got smoked by Barcelona 4-1 in the home leg of the first knockout round, so we're pretty much fucked there as well.

      Transfer wise...

I brought in Sidney Sam (£10.5m), Cesar Azpilicueta (£15m), Alvaro Dominguez (£7.5m)

Going out were: Aaron Lennon to Lyon (£14m), Vedran Corluka to HSV (£9.25m), Sebastien Bassong to Lyon (£8.5m)

My total transfers including the summer window have been £81m spent, £83m sold, so we have still made a profit in player movement on the season.

Phil Neville just announced his retirement as well. I hope I can make him a coach for us.

Pretty sure that players who become coaches will always be limited as coaches. Read that they get really mediocre CA and PA when they switch, no matter how good they were as players. Not to say he can't be kept as a coach for sentimental reasons, but they won't adds much to a bigger club that can attract top coaches.

The moment Carra retires, he will become my Assistant as well. I also signed Javier Pastore for 30 million in my game to play CAM in my new 4-2-3-1 formation. His ratings are ridiculous in this game. Also I signed some 22 year old Argentine right back as well who looks good. Both of them were from Palermo too.

I let Kaka, Maxi and Glen Johnson go out on frees and I'm working on selling Tomas Necid or David N'Gog.

I read about the CA/PA thing for former players on training guide I found on the SI forum. I'm hoping its not true. Perhaps it was true of 2010 and the guide wasn't updated for 2011...? Either way, I'm hoping its not limited like that because that doesn't really make sense...

Took over as Tunisia's Manager after their dismal African Nations performance. They have a good young core that I hope develop nicely for the 2018 WC in 3 years. I took Uruguay to the Quarterfinals in 2014 and lost to Spain 4-0.

Phil Neville accepted my offer. After my current Ass Man's contract expires I'll be offering him the job.

Phil Neville is far too good an attacking coach

I find it odd that he's got this attacking mentality considering he is a defender and only has 7 career goals in his 536 EPL league games.

I'll fire it up and then grab a beer, a beer that happens to be German and think, "I love Germany and their beer, one of my favorite countries in the world. I should do a German save."

I'll start with a German team, and then turn the channel on the tv to LFC tv and think, "Fuck, Liverpool is my favorite club in all of football. I should just go back to them."

And so on and so on...
I always find myself going back to Liverpool. The furthest I've ever made it with another club was one season with PSV.

I bounce around until I find one that sticks. I actually find Newcastle the toughest because I get so frustrated with them. Had a good one as Bremen before christ
As that was lost to a corrupted save. And when that happens, it sucks my wind for like a month

Furthest I've ever gotten was earlier this year when I got Southampton consecutive promotions from League One to the Premiership. Kinda got bummed when I got canned so I said fuck it.

I'll probably get decently far with this Tottenham save though. Almost done with the second season and I don't really have much interest in starting anything new right now so yeah.

Though I am kind of tempted to check out Real Betis at some point as a challenge, but meh. Who knows.

Started a Porto file, sold Hulk for a hefty 22.5 million Euros and immediately bought Jelle Vossen and Fredy Montero to fill the hole next to Falcao on my front line.
