Hilltoppers embarrassed by DSC in blowout fashion
Taylor Jones and Dexter McPherson get pumped after Miscue-22's INT for a TD
Miscue-22 handles a ball tossed into the air after WKU's QB is hit
Kyle Hadley follows 2 great blocks by WR Ethan Woy and scores
Woy catches a tough pass in the back of the endzone for a 35 yard TD
Summary:
After giving up a field goal to the HillToppers Freshman Dexter McPherson looked at his teammates on the sideline as the kickoff was happening and proceeded to "light a fire under their asses" he would say later on after the game to our reporters. "Man we are better than that massacre to Troy. WE SHOWED THIS LAST WEEK! LET'S SHOW IT THIS WEEK! THIS AINT A GAME MAN. WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER FROM THIS POINT ON FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. LETS LET's GO!".
In his second straight game back from a 2 game "cool down" period, Freshman Airik Aldridge really couldn't find any open receivers. When he did, though, he was deadly with 180 yards on just 9 completions. He also threw 2 TD's to WR Ethan Woy and RB Kyle Hadley. Speaking of Kyle Hadley... this kid is a future first round draft pick. That's right I said it. You hear it here FIRST so everyone remember this when he makes it in the big league. No teams can stop him. Sun Belt nor SEC he is just that good. The raining today could have had a big factor in the receivers not getting open, but Ethan Woy had no troubles as he caught 4 passes for 105 yards and a long 35 yard TD.
Once again it's Coach Scolpa's DEFENSE who really shows what they can really do. Taylor Jones the starting DT is on a constant sack rampage the last 3 games. He has recorded 5 sacks in just these 3 games and has 7 on the season. Nick Sigona was injured early and was labeled out for game so the defense lost a huge player, but kept on truckin. When this happened Miscue-22 (Dexter McPherson) talked to his teammates. He fired them up and also backed up what he was saying finishing with POTG nominations.
In a great win like this you can only hope those recruits who were here enjoyed their stay. The Falcons will need them next year. Another tough Sun Belt game is in store for the current roster, though, and to establish momentum the Falcons will need to win it.
Falcons Stats:
Offense
Kyle Hadley, HB- 15 attempts for 121 yards and 1 TD

Daytona State Falcons get their number 2!
Bryan Williams, #56 DE, :2star:, 6'7" 270 LBS, Bossier City/Louisiana
What if I were to tell you, as a coach of ANY college football team, that you could have a chance of signing someone with the speed of a safety, the strength of an offensive tackle and the height of an NBA point forward, how would you react? Obviously you would be ecstatic. The reason I say this is because these are the feelings Coach Sean Scolpa of the Daytona State College Falcon football team. His number 2 rated player on his recruiting board just commited to his school/team before the FAU game. This kid is 6'7" and 270 pounds. He runs a 4.6 40 yard dash and benches a nice amount. He started at LBer in high school around his sophmore year, but his coaches noticed he had a nack for wanting to go full speed into feeling and getting to the QB/RB in the background. The high school coach didn't blitz linebackers so he moved Williams to LE. After a 30 sack career at his small school in Louisiana he is now moving on to another southern state to play college ball. This is a tremendous pickup and I am completely eager to see him in a Falcons uniform.
