Looks like all Aldridge needed was a little time on the bench to re-gather himself. Let's ride into bowl season hot with a few more victories.

Falcons get 3 commits after the close game to Arkansas St!
Bryan Lane, #42 DE, :2star:, 6'5" 250 LBs, Franklin/Tennessee
George Edwards, #54 MLB, :2star:, 5'10" 213 LBs, Oviedo/Florida
Danny Nelson, #33 FB, :1star:, 6'0" 235 LBs, Gladeview/Florida
After a nail biting win over Arkansas St., Coach Scolpa received three calls of the same thing. "I want to play for the Daytona State Falcons Coach". Once again he is off to a great career already and looks to be ready for next season with these new additions. At FB, MLB, and DE all needs are filled for the required limits of players for 2010. Although, DE Bryan Lane could start as a true freshman. He has the versitility and size to do work in the Sun Belt and in the NCAA as a whole. Coach Scolpa will most likely look towards him then Williams who commited a couple weeks earlier. At MLB George Edwards brings a sure tackler to the table. MLB was a great need because outside of Nick "The MiG" Sigona the Falcons had noone to fill that backup spot. Now they do and he's a pretty good candidate as will. FB wouldn't really be a need if Nick Harvey didn't battle an injury all season long. With a freshman backup Coach Scolpa doesn't really need to worry about this postition.Last edited by Rylo; 08-04-2009, 02:24 AM.
