                        Week 11 Preview

                        at
Arizona Cardinals (8-1) at Carolina Panthers (2-7)

                        Pre-Game Injury Report

ARZ- Adrian Wilson, SS (fractured arm - probable)
CAR- Steve Smith, WR (broken finger - probable) | Artell Hawkins, CB (migraines - doubtful) | DeShaun Foster, HB (hairline arm fracture - doubtful) | Mike Minter, SS (torn hamstring - out)

                        Pre-Game Matchups

Cardinals QB Drew Henson (152-262, 2495 yards, 19 TD, 11 INT) vs. Panthers QB Jake Delhomme (151-252, 2105 yards, 18 TD, 8 INT)
Henson had another decent game last week, throwing for slightly over 200 yards and two scores. The only thing that he could improve on is his interceptions, as he's near the league leaders in that category, but his touchdowns cancel that out. Delhomme has been a bright spot on this 2-7 squad, as well as the rest of the offense.

Cardinals HB Emmitt Smith (181 carries, 654 yards, 10 TD) vs. Panthers HB Stephen Davis (183 carries, 699 yards, 6 TD)
Smith went off last week against a weak Giants defense, rushing for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. He now leads the league in rushing touchdowns with 10. Against a bad Panthers defense, look for those numbers to rise. Davis isn't the problem to the Panthers' 2-7 season. He's ran for almost 700 yards and six scores. However with the loss of DeShaun Foster this week, he might get worn out with no one to relieve him.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (66 catches, 904 yards, 6 TD) vs. Panthers WR Steve Smith (41 catches, 749 yards, 9 TD)
Fitzgerald and Boldin...what can't you say about these two? Smith has been great as well for Carolina and is near the league leaders in receiving yards and touchdowns, but might be hampered this week due to a broken finger suffered in last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

                        Prediction: Cardinals 31, Panthers 17

BALANCED OFFENSE LEADS TO CARDINALS NINTH WIN

Bryant Johnson goes up to catch this touchdown pass from Drew Henson. It was Johnson's first touchdown of the year.

                          FIRST QUARTER
ARZ- Neil Rackers 46 yard field goal
ARZ- Drew Henson 17 yard pass to Bryant Johnson (Neil Rackers kick)

                          SECOND QUARTER
CAR- Jake Delhomme 11 yard pass to Steve Smith (John Kasay kick)
ARZ- Neil Rackers 26 yard field goal

                          THIRD QUARTER
                          None

                          FOURTH QUARTER
ARZ- Emmitt Smith 7 yard run (Neil Rackers kick)
CAR- Stephen Davis 25 yard run (John Kasay kick)
ARZ- Mike Rumph 6 yard interception return (Neil Rackers kick)

CHARLESTON, SC (AP)- Drew Henson threw for 307 yards and a touchdown and Emmitt Smith added 112 yard rushing and a score in the Cardinals 27-14 win over the Panthers. The Arizona defense let Stephen Davis go over the century mark in rushing yards, the third time they've left the opposing runningback do that. However, the secondary was strong like usual, holding Jake Delhomme to under 150 yards passing. Delhomme completed less than half his passes and threw two interceptions, including one to Mike Rumph which was returned for a touchdown.

Henson led the Cardinals on an opening drive of nine plays before Neil Rackers kicked a 46 yard field goal to give Arizona an early lead. A three and out gave the ball right back to Henson and the offense, where they went on another long drive. Henson first hit Anquan Boldin for 37 yards, then hit Larry Fitzgerald for 19 yards. Emmitt Smith carried the ball two yards, but then Henson was sacked by Mike Rucker. He shook the dirt off and hit Bryant Johnson on a fade route for a 17 yard score. Carolina came back with a long drive of their own, a nine play drive that ended in Delhomme finding Steve Smith for an 11 yard score. Smith, who played despite a broken finger, had four catches for 50 yards and that touchdown. Henson led the Cardinals down the field with a minute and a half left in the first half, getting down to the Panthers' 10 yard line before settling on a Neil Rackers field goal to end the half.

A scoreless third quarter led to a fourth quarter where Emmitt Smith scored on a seven yard run. Carolina came back with Stephen Davis, riding him down the field for a score. A long drive by Arizona ended in a punt by Scott Player, who punted it out of bounds at the two yard line. After an incompletion, Delhomme found Rumph for a pick six to put the game away. The 9-1 Arizona Cardinals will host the New York Jes next Sunday.

                          PASSING
                          ARZ- Drew Henson (21-25, 307 yards, 1 TD) | CAR- Jake Delhomme (11-27, 128 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT)

                          RUSHING
