I never hated Dexter, but I don't want him changed too much. It's his job to kill scumbags.

Loved the most recent episode.

This season is better than the last two dreadful seasons. I'll leave it at that. Still feels like a chore to watch it sometimes, but i'm committed until the end at this point.

I think it's the opposite. I think she's going to end up finally "helping" Dexter with the way the most recent episode ending. Now she may die still, but it won't be from the hands of Dexter. I could see Deb dying in the finale and the whole next season is Dex going after the killer (which could very well be Isaak) or even them both dying in the series finale next year.

I feel like killing Dexter is the only way to end the series. Whether or not deb makes it that far who knows. I think her dying and Dexter chasing the killer next season like you said would be the best guess

I have enjoyed this season's Dexter, but

 

his jumping Yvonne Strahovski's bones at the end of the last episode was too obvious.

I think this is one of the better seasons of Dexter.

It's much, much better than the previous two seasons. Probably better than the mediocre Jimmy Smits season, too.

It's not as compelling as 1 & 2, and it doesn't come close to the Lithgow season. So as of right now I have it right in the middle.
