Right so it's Jaime apologists who can't handle that he's a bad person. Cool.

This perspective annoys me. What "redemption" arc? The one you decided that Jaime should have? I hate to break it to you, but the source material of Jaime Lannister is not a nice man. He is trying very hard to become an honorable man, but he at times (as a POV character) straight up admits to himself that he's kind of a piece of shit. These characters are ever changing in the books, and many have multiple hills and valleys as far as what is expected of good and evil characters. You don't spend one jaunt through the woods with a tall chick and become a good guy. It just doesn't happen. It's why the characters in this story are 10x better than 95% of the fantasy nonsense available.

As dead as this place can be i still enjoy discussing GOT in this thread more than just about anywhere else on the net. ASOIAFbros for life.

I caught up on all 3 episodes of this season today and im loving it. I like the choice for Oberyn and hate they brought new Daario in so that old Daario could go get that young Jason Statham money.

I havent finished AFFC but i need to get back on that for more input in the bookreader thread.

I was apathetic about new Daario, but he won me over by chucking that dagger into the horse's eye. That whole scene was awesome and ALMOST made me forget about the lack of Strong Belwas.

This is my favorite show. I love/loved many others but this is one I legit think about 3-4 times at various points of the day.

If you're a reader Buzzman, you really should have a go at the books. If you think that the show is bad, thinking about the books seriously consumes way more of my life than they have any business consuming.

I've read the first two books. Part of me just doesn't want to know anything to keep the show completely new to myself.

This show/books is the only thing I think about.

I am so paranoid that I don't even try and talk about the show online with people because I am so weary of spoilers. It really does suck. You can try and separate book readers from the non but even then you have to be weary. This is one of the only shows that any little detail can be a spoiler. If someone were to come up and tell me Jamie is such a great character in the 5th book, I feel like thats a big ass spoiler because now I would know he's safe up until that point at least. The Wire was similar to this, but even that show had safe characters. In this show anyone can die because it has 15 other characters waiting to take their place. This forums seem to be the only one that really does keep it separate.
