        Super
        Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page

Was not what I expected. I didn't laugh as much as I anticipated to. Also, it was very, very gory. Some of the shit that happens I was shocked to see. Not that I've never been exposed to that level of gore, I just didn't expect it at all.

I don't know if I'd recommend it. It's an obscure movie. Not sure I "got it."

No Strings Attached, it was a solid romantic comedy, of course having the sexy Natalie Portman in it helped. It got quite a few laughs from me. I got Blue Valentine to watch later.

It was directed by James Gunn, who directed Slither a few years back. I'd expect grossness from him.

The Other Guys- above average comedy with some great moments, but also some moments where I scratched my head. Loved seeing Mark Walhberg take a comedy role and knowing that he doesn't take himself that seriously. Michael Keaton did a great job as the captain, and the best scenes involved The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson. I was actually surprised that the characters I enjoyed the most were in supporting roles like that.

Not Ferrell's best like we've seen in Anchorman and Old School, but its been his best movie in a couple years that is for sure.

Yea The Other Guys surprised me in how much I liked it. I've always liked M.W., but I've never been big on Will Ferrell (wasn't huge on Anchorman when I saw it), but I surprisingly liked it. I also kinda liked Land Of The Lost which I think he was in.

I need to catch up on some movies though. I need to see Lincoln Lawyer, the new Fast & Furious, Thor, then some older ones like Source Code. Shoot I got some older movies on Netflix I still need to see.

I worked with both of the production companies that made The Other Guys while it was shooting in NY. I was happy with the finished product, especially after having to read the script 6 times.

I'm happy people enjoyed it, especially with all of the flak Ferrell has received in the last few years.

I heard The Other Guys is solid for the first 45 minutes then it goes to shit. I'm gonna check it out soon though, at worst it's in the Step Brothers territory.

The plot drags, but there are some really funny parts towards the end.

It's just different from Step Brothers, and that may be my favorite Ferrell movie of all-time because of its sheer ridiculousness.

I do like the subplots as well, especially those dealing with the Prius and Keaton's character and quotes from TLC.
