So, I'm just catching up with this show...just finished Season 2 last night...will knock out Season 3 when I get back from Memorial Day Weekend with general quickness...
I need to say...this show kind of sucks. My wife likes it, but I just can't get past the typical "dumb person does dumb thing to create drama" that happens in EVERY.EPISODE.
Its not like they've only been at this shit for a week, its been months now and they act like n00bs and crazy people during the Zombie Apocalypse. They all deserve to die and I hope they burn in hell.

That is my general impression of the show. The survival thing at the start was great, but once you get into the stupidness of some of this shit, you just keep wondering how they all haven't died yet. After over a year of knowing how the walkers work and all, how they still get killed by these things is beyond me.
I won't spoil Season 3, but if you feel this way now heading into it, then my god look out for the next season because it just gets 100 times worse.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

The Walking Dead would work better if it was set up like Scoobey Doo. Have these fuckers traveling every episode and running into mysteries and adventures along the way. The longer they sit still, the more stupid the show and characters gets. Especially since currently there's no end goal, it's just basic pointless survival.Comment

I pretty much said this after I finished season 2. I'm attempting to go at season 3 now that I have a good streaming site once again and its still beyond retarded. I think the biggest thing is like you said how stupid most of the characters are and the decisions being made just constantly make me say "are you kidding me".
The most interested I was in the entire show was in season 1 when they were learning about the virus and trying to figure out how to cure it. Wish they would of went along with that story line for bit but of course that was short lived due to more stupid decisions.

About halfway through Season 3 I kinda just said, "wait, why do I care?" I loved season 1, season 2 was pretty meh, but largely the show has been disappointing. I think I've stuck around for long to see where they take the story but it's been in cruise control for awhile now.Comment

Youre watching the wrong show. Thats the complete opposite of how it went down. Second half of S2 numerous characters finally rise up and become interesting, S3 shit was happening every episode until the second half.

These people cant sleep without every sound causing panic , they've seen loved ones ripped to shreds and eaten , there's essentially no hope , little food , and a constant threat of being torn apart. You're expecting slutty soccer moms , farmers , small town cops , and lawyers to act like a rational ,well organized unit. Most people can barely function in the real world let alone a zombie post apocalyptic one.
