Oh and the Terrence Jones decommit was AWFUL for the Northwest
just as i could say the loss of Breunig and T Ross were awful for Maryland.

I love Terrence Jones intensity but like most the sooner he learns hes not a 2 guard the better. I dont mind him handling the ball in transition, but i dont like the DDO sometimes because Cal always has the 4s and 5s at the 3 point line with the ball wtf. I guess its to bring the other bigs out of the lane so the Gs can slash but cmon man just leave Jones down in the post.

UK has to play more than 6 guys this year to be successful, it worked against a subpar Kansas team but come UNC game Darius Miller and Kyle Wiltjer have to get some minutes to keep the legs fresh.

Former 4 star SG Stacey Poole out of Jacksonville is transferring and not a single fuck is given. Maybe he can end up at a USF, or Miami or somewhere since UF is out of the question. He seemed lazy and not willing to put in the work in practice to keep up with the intensity of the guys who actually played per all accounts.

The Pac 12 goes 3-2 tonight (I hate you Colorado and USC lost to a good San Diego St team).

Washington State needed a win after an emotional game @ Gonzaga Monday. Devonte Lacy is a freshman to keep your eyes on in the Pac 12. Back to back real good games.

Oregon beat my alma mater Eastern Washington Eagles. This says nothing about Oregon at all. They're probably going to suck.

The nice one was Arizona beating St. Johns (still love Lavin) @ Madison Square Garden. Outside of the obvious guys on Arizona I'm excited to see how this freshman Nick Johnson is going to pan out this season for the Wildcats

-I watched the entire St. John's/William & Mary matchup. SJU only has one scholarship player back from last year's team. Steve Lavin recruited 6 top 100 players, but only 3 are academically eligible. The young players stuggled in the first half, against a William & Mary team that can be a pain in the neck with their methodical offense and 2-1-2 zone D. SJU trailed by 7 at the half, but settled down in the second half and made it a rout. It helped that W&M couldn't throw it into the ocean after a hot first half from beyond the arc. St John's only plays 6 or 7 players, and they have no size. I think they will have games where they look awful (like the first half tonight), and games where they blow people out of the building (like the second half tonight). This looks like it will be one of those Jekyl & Hyde teams.

-I only saw the second half of Arizona/Valpo, but rumors of the Arizona demise look to be exaggerated. Coach Miller admittedly has rotation issues to figure out on a team that lost its two best players and 70% of it's scoring from last year, but they have athletes.

-Mississippi St won its opener over Eastern Kentucky. I wish this was on TV, because Dee Bost is a player I like a lot this year, and he led the way with 23 points.

Mississippi St walked into MSG and went 2-0 to win the CvC tourney, and Bost is officially on the map.

Steve Lavin can't be happy about laying the 0-2 egg on their home floor.

TAMU went 1-1 without Middleton, so they can't complain.

Good win for the Tigers today. Offensive firepower is very real. Hamilton, the 7 foot white guy who we transferred from Iowa St., led the way with 19 and 10. Extremely impressed by his skills so far. Pleasantly surprised with his feel around the basket, I was expecting a stiff.

Jared Sullinger has done a great job of developing an away from the basket game.

And Aaron Craft is just incredible. Love that kid.

                Penn 66, Robert Morris 60

The Colonials had no answer for Penn guard Zack Rosen, who lit it up with a 5-7 performance from behind the arc. The senior continued his streak of 18+ point games to start the season and is now averaging over 22 PPG on this early campaign.

For RMU, Philly native Velton Jones led the way with 16 points and 7 assists. Three others (Russell Johnson - 13, Coron Williams - 13, Lijah Thompson - 10) were in double digit points, but the bench was non-existent with just 5 points coming from that area.

The Colonials will face James Madison on Tuesday.

                    Maui Invitational time, you whores.

Loaded field. Super excited to see G'town take on Kansas, and then whoever else. I'd love to take a crack at Dook at some point this week.

Don't be surprised to see Memphis beat Duke because Memphis's guards should be able to drive at will

Or see Michigan beat Duke as Duke won't be able to attack that zone that well unless Rivers goes off or they are hot from 3

Oh yeah, I think Duke can get knocked off at some point for sure by any of these teams.

It's an interesting field, because all of these teams have some question marks. The Kansas/G'town game will teach us some things about both of those teams.

Michigan is well coached and has the shooters to be dangerous v everybody.

Memphis is exactly like they were last year judging from the game v Michigan... super fast, athletic, talented, can't shoot, retarded shot selection.

UW got their asses kicked by St Louis. I think they're 0-9 in season road openers, thats pretty damn terrible if you look at some of the teams they've lost too

Well, the fix was in tonight for NC State against Texas. Loads of bullshit cost UT an 18 point lead.
