Enough is enough. Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time.

I guess when I really sit back and think about it, I can't really say who the greatest QB of all time is. You can't argue it isnt Montana, Favre, Elway, Manning, Brady... I will go with a 5 way tie.

Favre in my eyes will always be overrated. I was more impressed with McNabb taking the Eagles to 4 straight NFC Championship games.

Manning has nothing to apologize for. He's a first-ballot HOFer, arguably top-3 NFL quarterback of all-time, etc...
I agree it's time for him to retire ... but he can certainly retire with his head held high. Brilliant career, good person (from what I can tell on TV), all the numbers, respect from teammates/opponents.

And, while I believe he should retire, he also has earned the right to say to people like me "Fuck that cat guy, Dave. I'm going to come back for one more year and show him why I'm an NFL hall of famer and he's an idiot."

Every Playoffs there is one winner and 11 losers. Come next week we will have 2 more and so on. Teams win games. If Seattle win another bowl is Russell the greatest QB ever?
The answer does not matter because it's a team win.

Peyton has been a great QB. I have hated and enjoyed watching him play.

It's hard to measure his greatness.

I would LOVE for my QB to have the opportunity to lose 13 playoff games. He has a Super Bowl win, can't win every time. The playoffs are unpredictable most times. You know the top few teams that should be there in the end but there's always a surprise or two. It will be sad that people will be trashing him late in his career, so quickly forgetting what he has done so consistently for so long. I think he will come back and have another quality season if he is healthy. Old Peyton is still better than what about 20-25 other teams have.

Out of curiosity if Brady loses does he get the same sympathy and should be better routine ?
