You need to re-evaluate your position when the criteria you champion most works against Peyton, and for Eli.
Enough is enough. Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time.

It doesn't automatically make him a Hall of Famer...having numbers that will place him historically among the greats and his peers (stop using normalized statistics...no one else uses them...this isn't baseball or basketball) PLUS two Super Bowls (and Super Bowl MVPs) is what gets him in.
Who cares if he throws for 4,000 yards every year if there are a half dozen guys who throw for 4,800 or dudes going over 5,000 every year? That's the point here, man. You keep saying these numbers are hall of fame worthy. They aren't. Normalizing them proves it.Comment

How can you say "stop using the normalized statistics"? That's what shows he isn't any better than his peers. That's what shows his numbers aren't hall of fame worthy.

Meanwhile, the tried and true numbers that are used by Hall of Fame voters for generations hold up as Hall of Fame worthy. Career totals, Super Bowls, playoff performance...Pro Bowl numbers, All-Pro along with All-Decade don't hold up due to volume of QBs in his era...but I'll also assume he'll get a few more Pro Bowls before his career runs out.Comment

#ringz are used to discredit Peyton and Marino when comparing them against the likes of Montana and Brady.Comment

By all means, show me...I dunno...five voters (?) that use these advanced numbers to validate their vote. I'll wait.

Again, and I don't know how you aren't comprehending this, but his totals aren't even impressive. He's never among the leaders in anything. Except INT's. He's incredibly inefficient on top of that.Comment

Seriously, i'm supposed to be impressed with Eli's 4,000 yards and 27 TD's when contemporaries like Peyton, Brady, Brees, Warner are throwing for 5,000+, and 40 or even 50 TD's?
Eli has thrown for 4,000+ yards three times, and has ONE FUCKING SEASON of 30 TD's.
And he does it while putting up sub 60% passing and QB ratings in the 80's.
Where are these impressive hall of fame level numbers? WHERE? Show me these great numbers. They don't exist.Comment
