Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth (hip) returned to practice Friday.

Haynesworth was never in serious danger of missing Sunday's tilt with the Bucs. Downgrade Cadillac Williams' matchup, although the insertion of Josh Johnson at quarterback already made Caddy a poor fantasy option

The Redskins expect Clinton Portis (calf, ankles) to play barring "a setback in (pre-game) warmups," according to FOX Sports' John Czarnecki.

ESPN's Adam Schefter also reports that Portis will play. However, FOX's Czar predicts "more work" for usual third-down back Ladell Betts and more freedom in the passing game for Jason Campbell. Portis hasn't capitalized on favorable matchups with St. Louis and Detroit, so he's no lock to take advantage of this one. The Buccaneers are ranked 31st against the run

Clinton Portis (calf, ankle) is active for Week 4 against the Bucs.

Tampa Bay is a favorable matchup, but Portis has struggled regardless of opponent this season and may not have a full workload because of his injuries. Albert Haynesworth is also active.

Redskins declared DT Anthony Montgomery, DE Renaldo Wynn, CB Kevin Barnes, RB Anthony Alridge, C Edwin Williams, LB Robert Henson, OL D'Anthony Batiste and WR Marko Mitchell inactive for Week 4 against the Bucs.

Clinton Portis and Albert Haynesworth are both active for Washington.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Redskins coach Jim Zorn won't have his job in 2010 barring "an extended playoff run."

And the odds are heavily against that, considering the Redskins' banged up running back, difficult division opponents, and 1-2 start. The team probably won't win seven games in 2009. Candidates to replace Zorn next year include Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, and Bill Cowher.

Hunter Smith left Sunday's game in the first quarter with a groin injury.

Smith is questionable to return and the Redskins have kicker Shaun Suisham doing the punting the meantime.

Clinton Portis rushed 25 times for 98 yards in Week 4 against the Bucs.

So much for a light workload because of ankle and calf injuries. Portis got double-digit carries in both halves, grinding out tough yards without gaining more than 10 on any run. Despite a banged up Portis, backups Ladell Betts and Marcus Mason combined for just three carries. He's on pace for 1,124 yards on 288 carries, but remains stuck on zero touchdowns.

Santana Moss caught two passes for 74 yards and one touchdown in Week 4 against the Bucs.

Moss was targeted just four times after a 10-catch, 178-yard Week 3 performance, but beat Aqib Talib on a nice double-move for a 59-yard touchdown that put the Redskins up for good in the third quarter

Chris Cooley caught five passes for 65 yards and one touchdown in Week 4 against the Bucs.

Cooley was quiet in the first half as the entire offense struggled, but came up with four second-half grabs, including a 17-yard touchdown.

Antwaan Randle El was held without a catch in Week 4 against the Bucs.

Randle El was targeted just once and has a total of six grabs since a big season opener.

Jason Campbell completed 12-of-22 passes for 170 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 4 against the Bucs.

Campbell was picked off three times by Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib, but did beat him on a double-move for a 59-yard touchdown to Santana Moss. Campbell turned the ball over four times in all and was absolutely dreadful in the first half as boos rained down from the Washington crowd, but then went 7-of-10 for 110 yards and two scores after halftime as the Redskins erased a 10-0 deficit for their second win.

Clinton Portis (ankles, calf) said his status for Sunday's win over the Bucs was never in doubt, despite being listed as questionable.

"Y'all feed into the game-time decision, and hopefully he's going to play, and it's breaking news. Unless I got a cast or some crutches, I'm playing," he said. It's clear that Portis doesn't need to practice to get a full workload. He had 25 carries Sunday while Ladell Betts and Marcus Mason combined for just three.

Justin Tryon has replaced Fred Smoot as the Redskins' No. 3 CB.

Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blatche isn't afraid to shake things up. He also benched Chris Horton in favor or Reed Doughty going into Week 4.

Redskins P Hunter Smith will have an MRI Monday to determine the severity of his groin injury.

Smith got hurt on his first punt of the game, forcing kicker Shaun Suisham to punt the rest of the way. Suisham averaged just 26.7 yards on his three punts.

The Redskins will host former Titans RB Chris Henry for a free agent visit on Monday.

Washington is obviously concerned with its running game, as Clinton Portis is spinning his wheels for a 3.9 YPC average and no TDs. Portis hasn't been effective since midseason in 2008. The Texans are also interested in Henry
