Everyone that keeps bringing up Eli's Ints from last year completely forget about Brees' INT stat from last year

who really cares about 'completetions in a row' record when it's in the 2nd and first drive in the 3rd and you fail to produce any points after that?

This is what Patriots fans had to go through after 2003. Thankfully Brady sealed his legacy after that, which I'm sure Eli will do.

I'm just at how Eli had a great game scoring essentially 18 points vs. the Patriots defense and brady had a bad one scoring 17 without Gronk and vs. the Giants great pass rush.

        Both QB's had great games.
lol....I thought Brady played very well and at one point he was making me ill with the 14 straight completions....couldn't stop him.....I just feel that one throw he'd like to have back and I'm sure Welker feels he should've caught it regardless...Pats defense also played better than everyone predicted

As far as Eli, he played well enough.....it wasn't the most awe inspiring game stat wise I've seen from a QB, but he made the big throws when he had to

I do when both those records give each team two score leads and put points on the board, like a QB should.

You're sucking awful in this thread, as Warner said. Both QB's essentially put up the same amount of points, one is labeled great and one is labeled poor. Horrific logic because they just see the "W" at the end.

Welker was still moving forward at the time. It wasn't a "stop" throw where you throw the WR away from the over the top coverage. He threw him away from the underneath and middle coverage.

                    Warner never said that

anyway, Brady couldnt lead his team to 1 point after the first drive of the 3rd quater, the way some of you guys are talking Brady and Eli were going score for score against each other in the 4th, Brady did nothing after his drive in the 3rd

I dont really understand your point, Brady played 'great' LOL

When Brady throws a ball that Welker catches at least 95% of the time.....I won't consider it a poor throw.

I was hoping it'd drop off the first page, only to resurrect it in 15 years or whenever Eli puts on his gold jacket...

Welker is a great reciever.. has nothing to do with the quality of the throw lmao...
