Vancouver didn't want to play that type of hockey tonight and it showed on the scoreboard.

Hopefully the B's can bring that intensity to the next game as well.

Matt Cooke doesn't even get 40 games, so don't try and make Rome the scapegoat here and think he is the guy that needs to be taught a lesson. Bad hit yes, but as wings said, stop looking at your pass, get your head up. If you play hockey one of the first things you are told when you start hitting is to keep your head up, even more so in the middle of the ice.

After watching the replay a few more times he may not have been admiring the pass as much as I thought, just looking to make sure he was on-sides....but still, players do that way too often.

Carter's been as good as gone for a while in my book. He's an amazing player and guy, but just too fragile, especially with our style of play.

Yeah I'm more than okay with Carter getting the boot to bring Bryz in...speculation on another board says two of Carle/Versteeg/Carter could be gone to make room, I'd prefer to keep Carle and get rid of those two other wastes.
