Rumour floating around that the rangers are close to backing out of the classic.

Apparantly they are playing in Europe to start the year already and Torts isn't to please about allowing the camera's into the dressing room leading up to it (24/7)

Possible replacement could be Chicago since they are tentivly schedule to be out in philly for the 5th of Jan. A rematch of the final 2010 final though would just be well boring to anyone outside of those cities imo.

Torts on HBO would make the Sopranos look tame.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

        No heritage classic this year.

Sources told ESPN.com on Saturday that the Heritage Classic in Canada, which made its debut in Calgary in February, won't be staged next season.

Only winter classic at this point.

I'm fairly sure Bruce Boudreau swears more in his one tirade then they entire Penguins roster.

I think we should take it to a game 7 TOMORROW night.

Tonight's effort doesn't really have an effect on the Stanley Cup finals.

Nonsense lol. Fleury was calling everyone on his team a motherfucker during the outdoor practice.

Here is a good article about the Canucks.

By Joe Haggerty CSNNE.com Bruins InsiderFollow @hackswithhaggs BOSTONIn the words of John McEnroe, the hockey gods cannot be serious! Can they? The Vancouver Canucks have become the prat-falling stars of their own sitcom entitled Hockey Players Behaving Badly during the first five games of the Stanley Cup Finals this summer. In doing so, Alain Vigneaults squad has claimed the mantle…

Of course you, a boston fan would think this is a great article. When really it sounds more like the whiny rantings of a man who has already cashed his chips in on the Bruins, and just wants to make the pain of not seeing his team win the cup by trying to bruise the ego of their fan base.

Seriously, half the article is rather garbage. The shit on Raffi Torres? Seriously, you had to go back to series 1 to find something to say? Something that has nothing to do with this final, and most likely was an after thought in the minds of everyone because it really wasn't that big of a deal? Any hockey fan will tell you a bright spot in the Canucks line up has been the play of Torres. This regular 4th liner is putting up big minutes, and in the dying moments on game 1 he is for some reason on the ice and SCORING game winning goals.

Lapierre? Seriously? Again more useless shit. Yeah he was a bitch in Montreal, but he has basically shut his mouth in Vancouver because he knows this is basically his last chance. He is second in penalties to Boston's Lucic, and Lucic has been tossed from the game.

Boston will never live down the bite by Burrows. Is kind of funny though. Burrows is Burrows, and you just live with him.

Vancouver as been a hated team, probably because this year more then any other year, people from Canada are willing to say Boston is the Canadian team rather then the team located in the boarders. You didn't see that in Ottawa/Anaheim, and we all remember jumping on the Red Sea (though I didn't and won a massive pool because of it).

The Canucks are really hard to like, though. The diving and antics of guys like Lapierre and Burrows rubs people the wrong way. Torres is in that same group but I will agree that he has been playing great the last two series.

Boston is much more likeable. I have friends who wanted the Canucks to win because some idiots find moral victory in "losing to the Stanley Cup champs," but after watching this series they all hate the Canucks.

I just hate that type of reporting because I think it makes the game look bad its self. There is so many angles the writer could have went but he went what I would say is the 'sore loser' route. At the end of the series, if Vancouver wins, it will be all about 2 things. Van's win, and Thomas's play. None of this other crap is going to matter, and I very much doubt the Burrows chomp goes anywhere down the line, other then a fun thing Boston fans will do any time Vancouver comes to town.

I picked Vancouver to win it at the start, so I want them to win based on that. But other then that, it has been a very good series to watch, and when your team isn't in it, that is all that matters.
