When you think of the "World" Heavyweight Championship as essentially, the equivalent of the old Intercontinental Title...it is easier to understand. Its essentially the B-Circuit Title, which was what the IC belt was before the Attitude Era.

The IC and US Titles now are the equivalent to a TV Title. They are lower half of the card belts.

Also HHH needs to stop with the tweener crap he's been doing.

        Last night's worst moment...

You knew Heyman was going to debut a new "guy"...and when Ryback showed up in the ring...talk about deflating a great feud with this mope. Terrible.

Going through the past month worth of Impacts at Tavon Austin-speed. Few thoughts...and there aren't many of them...

-Ken Anderson's 10 minutes at the end of the 9/5 episode where he turns on Bully Ray were the best 10 minutes Anderson has had since 2010 when he faced Kurt Angle in that cage match.

-TNA has a nasty habit of being incredibly obvious when they stop and start something new. This BFGS is the definition of it. They initially had Magnus slated to win it, then they switched it up mid-way through and very recently are deciding to run with Styles probably because his contract issue got some internet buzz. Perhaps having two weeks between shows really hinders their ability to develop cohesive storylines...maybe they overthink it and change direction between shows. We already know they skip countless matches for a tournament, changing shit up regularly would shock me none.

-AJ Styles v. Austin Aries on 9/12 was getting hype on the interwebs. That's not saying much, but it was an ok match. Tons of slips and sloppiness and was rather nondescript. This is supposed to be a big SEMIFINALS match to get a title shot...felt like a curtain jerker match until the last say, 3 minutes of it. With all that said, if you put together a list of TNA's best matches of 2013, its probably in the Top 10...and that's sad.

Also, sounds like TNA is going to go back to hosting Impacts at a singular venue starting at the beginning of 2014.

              Awful.

              This is awful right now.

We can't have nice things and this is why.

I'm actually more invested in this Rhodes Family storyline (even if Stephanie and Dusty can't seem to hold a promo together apparently) versus the McMahons than Danielson/Orton/HHH.

Especially since Broke Show is now the reluctant muscle.

                  Jesus.

This is like when Shawn killed Flair with that Superkick at WM.

Big Show punched Dusty Rhodes' soul right out of his body.

Yeah, probably a good idea to cut $17 million per year off the expenses.

Look, you find another star who can go on TV shows and not mention the product that's paying him multi-millions a year.

The truckstop from WCW Backstage Assault.

Sting? When he's not remembering that TNA's paying for his active "retirement" fund.

Agree completely. If TNA stands a chance, it's time to embrace the Bryan Danielsons of the business and try to offer something different. Get rid of any veteran who doesn't contribute big-time and go with the kids. TNA can never compete with WWE and shouldn't even try. They should try to carve their own niche. There are many pro wrestling fans who want something that's not WWE.
