You need not to know ANY Japanese and you can follow storylines. Finishers are sold like a million bucks and protected. Programs are simple to follow and based on something tangible to athletic competition. Heels and faces are easily divisible.
Imagine a gook trying to watch the WWE with subtitles or the gook announce team...shit is too complicated to follow.
It wasn't always that way...even in the 80's, the WWE kept the main programs ridiculously simple. Hell, you need very little explanation to explain the most complex 80's WWE storylines. Now...try explaining Bryan/AJ/Punk/Kane to someone...hell, we can barely make sense of it.
They did a year build of Savage growing weary of Hogan. They had one brawl but otherwise it was literally a year of Macho looking curiously and just moving on. A year. And it drew HUGE.

Mega Power Explode storyline was 1y of story and it could be summed up as such...
#1 and #2 face (champion) join forces. #2 face becomes jealous of #1 face and suspects him of trying to steal his girl. #2 face heel turn. Match at biggest event of the year.
FIN.
That took 1 whole year.
80's WWF was very simple. 80's NWA/WCW was very simple. I mean, look at Flair v. Dusty...the characters wrote the feud themselves!
Simplicity of the beauty of good wrestling programming.

Silas Young was a no show, so ?? in the four way is Lince Dorado, who is working the FUW show and is a part timer with EVOLVE/DGUSA anyway, so it was a good fit.
Young was scheduled to face Gargano on the third night, so he may have blown the biggest match of his career. I don't know the story of why he isn't there tonight, might be totally legit, who knows.
Gotta love the simplicity of "can anybody beat this guy?" and "everybody wants titles". Refreshing. Nobody gets 'fired' or 'gets control of the company!!!11' if either man wins.
Though I did love the Triple H/Jericho/Stephanie feud with the undisputed titles and how it culminated in her being fired.
While I get having a storyline or two like that around, no way should they be taking precedence over the main titles, and no way should the past couple John Cena "main events" be put over Punk/Bryan matches. Absolutely stupid, and you would think with the tanking Raw ratings they would get a clue.
Sonjay Dutt is back and I missed it? Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Yeah man, they are doing an X-Division tournament at Destination X for the soon to be vacated belt, and this was a qualifying match. One more tonight, two more next week.
