I actually don't think Ted Thompson is done moving up either. I wouldn't be shocked to see him make a move to get back into the 3rd for an OT like Meredith or a DE like Gilbert. I think Gilbert being more likely. I think we could stay put and get a OT. Gilbert would absolutely be worth moving up for though IMO.

Now i'm a full on Cards fan and doubt that will change, I only kept the name because everyone on MM knew me as Peppers90... I might change it later on though.

Falcons had a good first day, I think both picks will start from day 1. Jerry taking over the other DT spot beside Babinaeux and Moore will be the new starter at SS. Good day 1.

Delmas sounds like he's gonna be a pretty good player. I just still don't get taking a tight end at number 20. You can a tight end in round 3, 4, or 5. So what if Pettigrew was the highest rated player on your board, I bet Peria Jerry was right behind him. Peria Jerry fills a bigger need than Pettigrew does.

The Lions are walking oxymorons. They say they're taking best available yet at number 1 overall, they took Stafford who in reality was more like 5th best available.

I'm not happy. It felt like a Carl Peterson draft. We need pass rushers, and we didn't get one. We needed offensive linemen, and we only got one, and according to Mizzou fans, he sucks. Awesome. 7th round really sealed the deal on my hate for the draft. We traded up to get a fucking TE and then drafted a kicker with guys like Ellerbe still on the board.

The draft was a disaster, unless Josh Mcdaniels has some defensive lineman that he can pull out of his ass. We got some nice players, but we didn't get the 3-4 defensive lineman that we need. Looks like we'll be playing a lot of 4-3 next year still.

Everyone says, and I agree, the Bronco's weekness was the defense, but we drafted 6 offensive players, 3 DBs and 1 defensive front seven player. Our secondary better be damn good, because we added 6 new DBs this offseason.

I don't understand the Broncos passing on Orakpo to get a RB of all positions. The one spot they usually can just plug a guy in at.

New coach, new running scheme. The Bronco's will be using some zone blocking, but not all the time.

McDaniels, was really impressed with Moreno's workout, and I'm guessing he didn't think Moreno would be there at 18.

I wanted Orakpo, but I guess McDaniels didn't. For the record if Orakpo was still there at 18, I think the Broncos would have still picked Ayers. The Broncos are running a mix of the 4-3 and 3-4 this year, so they need players who are versatile and can play different positions. Ayers brings that, he's one of the most versatile players in the draft. You can't say the same thing about Orakpo. Ayers can play OLB and DE in the 3-4, and he can play DT and DE in the 4-3. He should get plenty of playing time this year.

I think the Eagles did great, getting a solid receiver, a nice running back to mix in and i kind of liek the ellis hobbs pickup as well

i like what the patriots did minus the Ellis Hobbs deal. I felt it wasn't necessary to trade him for 2 5th even if he was unhealthy and we have plenty of depth. He was still of value to us. I think that we drafted well for depth and for the future. Patrick Chung, Ron Brace, Brandon Tate, Tyrone Mckenzie, all of these guys can come in right away and help, but yet will be key assets down the road. Nice work by BB and co today.

I got a text from a friend as the Raiders were on the clock it said. "Crabtree FTW". Shortly after I got a dozen text messages saying "DHB to the Raiders, LOL. That's worse then the Ginn pick".

That's funny. About a week before the draft my brother said watch Al Davis draft DHB, but he said that as a joke. My phone was ringing before Goodell could finish calling his name.

Like Spidey said, we had more pressing needs and to reach for a quarterback in the first round of a average draft class was stupid IMVHO.

I'm not just saying this to be optimistic, but I thought we had an outstanding first day, coupled with a B or B+ second day. I'd loved that we didn't just try to fill holes.. you can't put square pegs in round holes just because it's a need. We took the best players on the board. I never liked Maualuga so I loved that we passed on him, I was a little surprised that with Oher still on the board we went Pettigrew, but either one I love. Delmas is a monster, the sig says it all.

The only pick I really didn't understand was DeAndre Levy from Wisconsin. Other than that, Derrick Williams and Andre Brown will help TREMENDOUSLY for our special teams unit, Sammie Lee Hill is a Shaun Rogers clone and he'll be perfect with Grady Jackson, Lydon Murtha has great upside at the tackle position, Zach Follett is a NASTY kid.. extremely tough hitter, and Gronkowski will battle for that #2 TE spot and should be another great option for our offense.

I'm really, really happy about what we did the last two days.. and I'm glad I got to see it unfold live. It's still a process, but again, I'm glad we're drafting the best players and worrying about this year AND the next 10 years, instead of just this year. Hopefully we can find a guy we like in some other key areas and we can really make a nice run this season.

Was upset when the Vikings passed on Oher for Harvin. But honestly it made sense to get another playmaker on offense other than Peterson. He should be able to even help out the run game as well since we now have two wideouts who can stretch the field.

Getting Loadholt in round 2 made passing on Oher a little better. He should come in and probably beat out Cook for the RT starters position. I just hope he can get his footwork down. Having him and McKinnie on the ends is just sick from a height/weight/size perspective. However just having size doesn't mean having a good line. Hopefully though the Vikings will be able to run to the right with some consistency now.

However what I loved most about the Vikings draft was what happened after the draft ended and we signed Colt Anderson!! Nothing like having your fave player from your fave college team join your fave pro team!!
