Batman: Arkham Asylum

I really hope if/when the sequel to this is made, they do away with the tapping A/X bullshit. I fucking hate it when games that do that. Just let me it it once and pull the grate off, or the wall down, whatever.

I also thought the boss battle with Joker was a letdown but it definitely didn't detract from the overall experience, in my opinion. I didn't play on Hard but didn't really think any of the bosses were hard. The only section I found mildly difficult was where you fight the Titan + the hordes of henchman in the pumping station area, because of the small area you fight in and the lock on not wanting to target the Titan but instead all the little guys.

I'm playing it on hard right now, Just got to the part where Dr Young dies. It's hard, combat is harder, and the stealth modes are a bit more challenging but that's it.

Agree 100% on the tapping A thing. My thumbs suck at quickly tapping A when using the batclaw.

I beat it on hard, and it's pretty much what Goblin said. Just a little, well, harder. I didn't have any issues with the stealth parts, but you don't get the jagged blue electricity coming out of guys heads to indicate when to counter, which can be tough (especially in the last couple of battles). You also can't take much abuse, so I'd recommend going for the health upgrades early.

All told, I liked it on Hard better. I like not having the indicators of when to counter.
 
I still haven't popped this game in. I've been too busy trying to figure out HOW TO FUCKING RUN THE BALL in Madden.:headache:
 
I don't think a sequel is a great idea, they've used most of the best villains already and I don't think there's a chance they would use Arkham again, meaning they'd have to come up with an entirely new setting.

Gotham wouldn't work as well for a Batman game as NYC did for Spiderman IMO

A sequel with Two Face would kick ass, they had a little cookie at the end suggesting it would happen. They left a return for Bane, Scarecrow and Killer Croc open with the way the game ended.

Batman has the greatest rogues gallery in comics, they might as well use it. Hush, Firefly, Penguin, Black Mask, Man Bat, Deadshot, Hugo Strange, The Mad Hatter, Mr Freeze, Ra's al Ghul, etc would all be awesome to have in the sequel.

there were a lot of villains that they didn't show yet: Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman...
 
Two Face, Penguin, Catwomen and Black Mask as the main villians for Batman: Gotham City. Have to clean up the city from the gangs who are fighting for turf and wreaking havoc.
