There are way too many roughing the passer penalties being called, so I knocked down the slider to single digits.

10 seconds after the QB gets rid of the ball, the DE will casually walk around the backfield and bump into the QB so he goes down like he's been shot and they throw the flag.

I had that happen to me. My defensive lineman brushed against the QB long after the play and the QB went flying LOL (but I had roughing up to about 65 at the time)

Had my first roughing the passer call. Online game, my defender crushed my opponents QB on a 3rd and 22. Retard....

It was a really up and down year for Wake. First 3 or 4 games he had like 5 sacks. He then went on a 6 game no sack streak. He finished up the season with 12 sacks then he tallied up within the last couple of games.

Its like an RPG. Its gonna be harder to improved something the higher level it is. Especially for physical attributes like that. It's good that they cost that much to prevent people from making everyone 99 speed 99 acc

My biggest gripe is still the shit playcalling. On several occasions now, I've seen CPU call for ridiculous draw plays on their own side of the field, needing a touchdown with under a minute to go and without any timeouts.

maybe is too much, but on the other hand, Speed is the most difficult rating to get better at. In NFL players rarely get faster. I´m sure that if i made them run a combine after 5years into the nfl they will do just the same or worst than when they did the NFL Combine.

Some storylines throughout my first season with scouting rookies

-One guy started out as an OT but switched to a DE
-The #1 overall guy is a WR but late in the season, rumors have him returning to school a la Leinart
-The #1 defensive guy is a stud MLB
-I've been scouting a QB who was pegged in the mid-late first round. Even had one awesome game where he threw for over 400 yards and 4 TD out of Oklahoma State. However, he apparently fucked up his shoulder in the bowl game because the headline was he's skipping the Combine to heal up an is now likely to be there as late as the end of the second round.

That sounds sweet. Has anyone started multiple CCs to see if the draft classes are truly dynamic? Im sure there will be a few players that differ from class to class but it should be that no draft classes from one CC to another are similar in any way other than the names, schools etc....

Consider the rating though, once you are past 24 or so dont expect to get any faster. In the NFL what makes mfers fast is their awareness. The more comfortable you are the faster you can play.

Playing against the computer I was tied 20-20 late in a preseason game. 8 seconds left I have 1 timeout, already in field goal range.

First play: I pick a run to center the ball in the middle of the field. When I get to the line CPU burns their final timeout trying to ice me.

Second play: I choose FG, they come out in 4-3. Game winning field goal attempt they don't even try to block it.

CPU playcalling is terrible to the point offline franchise is unplayable.

I believe that..

-Draft class order isn't static. So you'd have to start many CC's to end up with the same class.
-Only 10-15 players per class have the dynamic storyline, the rest are what they are.
-Not sure if names/schools are random or not, might be.

I can only see a thumbnail cause of my work proxy, but what I think I make out is this being an Accel upgrade for Cam Wake?

The whole 1,000,000 XP isn't supposed to be attainable, that's the whole point. On what planet do 30 year old DE's become more explosive?

Re-started my CC w/the Cowboys. Made it out of pre-season mostly injury free - Marcus Spears went down for the year with a "Complete MCL Tear." I placed him on IR. I have yet to play the first game of the season - looking to do that tomorrow night or Saturday night.

As players age all the "athletic" ratings start to be come near impossible to move. Speed, Agility, Acceleration I know for sure are included.

Can anyone tell me if things like Consistency and Confidence are things are worth investing in if you plan to play every game? Those things are pretty expensive and they don't really affect the players OVR. For example, John Skelton has lackluster accuracy and his inconsistency is at a zero. Would I better served to putting points into his accuracy or consistency?

Also, does consistency affect game-to-game or play-by-play?
