I just think for a guy that was red flagged and passed on by teams with needs at the position because of "character issues" this is the wrong direction. Ray likes to bring up the police blotter to support his case all the time but just because a guy isn't arrested doesn't mean he's not a dick and cause a rift in the clubhouse. How many times has Terrell Owens been arrested? Barry Bonds? Jeff George?


You'd think slipping from the top 10 to the mid 20s and not even being the first WR taken would have been enough to humble this guy but apparently not. I'm willing to bet you anything that Tony Romo and Miles Austin were carrying around TO and Drew Henson's pads with smiles on their faces.

2 things.

2 - Seeing as how Tony Romo showed up before Drew Henson, I doubt he was made to carry jack shit by that two-sport reject.

Like I keep saying, it's one stinking practice and I expect it to be a non-issue as the week proceeds. The only reason this gets mentioned at all is because it's the Cowboys and it's the receiver everyone in the media says is a bad egg, yet no one can come up with a legitimate reason why.

And the only reason you posted it here is to somehow justify your team's passing on him for a guy who probably doesn't even know how to run the passing tree.

I'm shocked that OSU coaches would back him you usually see guys college coaches destroying their ex-players after their done playing for them.. Les Miles told us all to avoid Jamarcus Russell! WHY DIDN'T WE LISTEN??

Leading up to the draft stuff was leaking everywhere that this kid was coming off as immature in the interviews and then he slipped to where he did. That's more telling to me than what Mike Gundy, who needs to come off as a guy who will promote you and not kill you in order to recruit to do his job, trying to get one of his guys more money and in turn get some more recognition for his program.

Not gonna argue that he isn't immature, because there is that within him, but he's 21 years old.

And being immature =/= being a diva in my book.

And again, you're basing it off one report, which surfaced after that incident with his cleats in his private workout.

im not calling Dez Bryant any names just yet but i know that even Pacman Jones shut his mouth and did whatever his teammates told him to when he was a hotshot first round pick, they ran up a $14,000 bill at his expense at a local restaurant. Every other first round rookie for the titans has shut their mouth and accepted the hazing as well.


typically teams pick on the 1st round rookie much more than anyone else.

You gotta understand that Lufkin has always had a perception of having troubled athletes coming out of that school. Guys like Reggie McNeal, Terrence Keil, E.J Shankle, Jamarcus Mcfarland and the parties he attended while being recruited. I'm sure i'm missing some more..

I dont get why people are praising Dez for this? Every rookie does that shit, what the fuck makes him so special that he doesnt have to do the shit all the rookies do?
