[ALL] Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

loot scaling kinda sucks. i understand they did it so your not walking around with some super overpowered weapon killing everything in one hit but still there's no real incentive to get special weapons and armor until your a higher level because if you find it when your still at a low level it will become useless once you get further in the game and level up more.

then you just go collect other super powered armors. theres a million good items in the game, its just kinda up to you which ones you want to get first to help you get, well, upscaled, to the power of the next one.

but then again i play on master difficulty and i dont have a choice really. i get what i can get asap so i stop getting my ass kicked by everything and everyone.

Because the game basically sets you up to kill dragons easily.

You go a few missions into the main quest and they hand you a weapon that's enchanted specifically to kill dragons.

That's one thing I don't like about this game, too often they'll hand things to you instead of making you earn it. Like putting a bunch of potions right next to the door before a boss. It cheapens some of the fights.
 
I still look at the Skyrim world in disbelief of how massive it is. I mean, everything above ground, below ground, water, mountains, ships.. I can only imagine how many people and teams it took to create everything.

Just like I referenced in my post above about time, I start playing and get totally absorbed in it. There is ALWAYS one more thing to do and I have a hard time saving and turning it off.
 
I really hope they come out with more missions for this game. Then down the line hopefully a new game just like his game in size and detail.
 
The Civil War questline was boring as hell.

First I couldn't decide which side to choose because

 

The Stormcloaks are racist and seem to hate Dark Elves. But I had already killed some imperial emperor.


I also didn't really care about their fight or who won. Then because I waited so long to do the quest my guy was so overpowered I didn't die during any of the missions.

 

Plus for the most part the missions were just fighting waves of low leveled enemies. SMH at Imperial Soldier #294 trying to harm me.

Most of them get repetitive. And completed most of those.
 
are people still having problems with the ps3 version getting laggy and messed up when the save file gets bigger? ive seen a lot of people complain about the game becoming unplayable after playing it for a long time.
 
I can use some more Missions myself. I still have to acquire a few more Daedric Artifacts and Dragon Priest masks, but once I finish that...there isn't much left outside of random cave exploring.
 
2 days of playing and about 12 hours of real time played. I need to do more of the main quest because I go into mines/caves and get my ass kicked. So far I only have two shouts available and only one is 2nd level.
 
To those that are still skeptical or wondering about playing the PS3 version of this, thought I'd let you know my save is already over 6 MB and have accumulated almost 32 hours of playing time with no lag/freezing whatsoever (knock on wood).
 
on the flip side mine froze within the first 2 hours of playing it

and it freezes all the time for me when i try to leave the general store in whiterun now. i can't leave the store so i'm probably going to have to start a new one cause of it.

*edit* i didn't start playing this until jan 2nd and maybe have played for 8-9 hours total.
