Football Manager

I'm the only team without a loss so far through 12 games, 9-3-0, but we face Chelsea at home next before heading out on a 3 game road stretch. Gary Cahill is almost back to 100% and his return will be a big boost to our defense. Distin gets fatigued to quickly and I don't have another decent center back. I could move Rodwell back there, though.
 
My team has hit a slump. We have major fixture congestion to go along with it. 7 games played with 3-4 days rest in between each game and we still have another 4 to go before we get at least a week off. Jack Rodwell has been lost for pretty much the rest of the season. He'll be out from December-April/May.
 
Started my first game of '11 with Montrose, the worst pro-team in Scotland. Picked a large grouping of playable lower leagues so I plan to bounce around the world on my way to the top.
 
Drew an away game against FC Twente in the first knockout round of the Euro Cup. If we win that game we get either Villarreal or LOSC Lille Metropole away.
 
So with Fulham....I bought, Jozy (5.5 Mil), Jack Rodwell (10 up front with another 5 later), Dann and Jack Butland from Birmingham (7 Mil) and (2 Mil), and Gai Assilun on a free.

Out were Clint, Hangeland, Duff, Baird, Murphy, and a couple others for a total of 27 million.

On my target list now, are Shenji Kagawa but Dortmund want 20+ mil. So thats a no, and none of my favorite Asian players are gonna get a work permit. There is a u21 French CB thats also getting eyed up. And a mediocre pacey winger I can find for cheap. So well see.
 
It's January and I really needed a decent enough midfielder with Rodwell and Cahill still out for another 2-4 months. Tried to get Wilshere on loan but couldn't because I already had two long term loans and could only offer him 5 months/end of season deal. Ended up getting Gago for 3 months, Esteban Granero for 4 months, and also randomly picked up Peter Crouch for a loan as well. Now with Gago I can put Bily back into his normal roll of winger.



And now Coutinho is out for a month.
 
Finished 9th/10 in my first season with Montrose. Club slashed my wage bill and just told me not to worry about where we finish. :crutch:
 
Finished the season in tenth, so actually achieved the Board's goals for the season. Time to cash in on some squad players and buy a really good striker.

I don't like the new training. The one in FM 10 was perfect.
 
You can have your team train with certain formations throughout the week, and individual training on players. That's all I know.

Bought Afellay with some left over funds. Given 14mil to finish top half. I'm going to sell Carroll and a few defenders, possibly one of my five wingers. Really need a good striker, probably a centerback and a right back as well.
 
It needs to hurry up and be the end of the transfer window so SI can get their last patch out and I can start my new save.

Right now I've just been experimenting with different formations and shit trying to find something I like for when that happens.

Preseason games have just started and I'm pretty happy with my squad. Afellay, Kramaric, Breno, Moses, and Kyle Naughton were all signed, the last two frees. Still have a bit of money that I'll try to save until January.
 
Started with Arsenal and wanted to bring in Jozy Altidore, Villareal wanted 15 Mil for him... SO... in short I told them to go fuck themselves.
