Rewatched the game from November on YouTube, uncharacteristic of both teams.
Brady threw a couple picks which led to Giants points. Aaron Ross muffed a punt which led to the first Pats score. Devin Thomas muffed a kick return but recovered it. Eli threw a pick in endzone. The Pats offense was crap until that Ross muffed punt in the 3rd. The Giants didn't even really get going offensively until well into the 2nd half.
Both teams are stronger now and will play on the fast track in Indy which would lead you to believe a lot of points will be scored.

Yeah, as long as this guy gets excluded from receiving a ring, I'd be okay with the Patriots winning. But they should save those for the good team. :smug:

They sacked Tom Brady twice in the regular season matchup, and only hit him three times. Eli was hit 8 times but was not sacked. Wouldn't be surprised to see Eli get hit/sacked more than Tom.

I should add I don't think you can compare '07 to '11 like some people think. 2007 the Patriots were a big play, throw to the outside offense. That allowed the Giants to get tremendous pressure in the SB. This year, it is all about quick hits, and Brady should be able to get rid of the ball before any serious pressure.

They played earlier this year and the Patriots offense was shut out in the first half and only scored 3 points through three quarters. I don't think it matters whether the Patriots are throwing it deep or short. They'll have some trouble.
