I can't really kill Belichick for this one. Apparently they needed another DT, so Silvestro is going to be active and in the DL rotation, and they had an extra WR so Underwood was the odd man out.

Chad Johnson will dress for sure now. They should have cut him instead. I feel terrible for Underwood.

Can't believe the Pats did this. Underwood is my favorite Rutgers player of all time, so it saddens me to see this happen. They should have cut that bum Ochocinco instead, at least Underwood has some sort of potential for the future. It's kinda funny though that he was replaced on the team by his former college teammate.

I'm not sure if he's allowed on the sidelines. He's no longer on the team.

He goes from making either $44k or $88k, to making $0. That's big money for a guy at his level.

And i'm not sure he wouldn't have played. There was some debate about whether he was going to be active, or Chad Johnson. I think Belichick is smart enough to realize that the media would have ran wild if he had cut Johnson, so it's possible that he figured "fuck it, neither will play much if at all, so i'm not making this a circus".

He won't be on the sidelines, he isn't a member of the team. However, I am hearing on the radio that the team really likes him/intends to bring him back next year, so there might be a way of working out some compensation for helping the team out. Bill O'Brien should kick him some compensation of his own for getting him a damn job.

I see no issue with the move. And Ochocinco caught his wide open TD pass, while Underwood dropped one and watched a Redskins' DB jump one in a tight spot... Honestly, I don't really like the way Tiquan plays so... it's all good.

According to the CBA, since he was active for 8 games he is still entitled to his SB share. If the Pats win he will receive his cash and a ring.
